Course Curriculum Overview

I am currently pursuing MBBS(Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery).It's the toughest UG(Under Graduate) course and i m liking it.I wanted to be a doctor and today i m successfully becoming one.

Placement Experience

MBBS is a course of 4.5 years and also with a compulsory internship of 1 year.So the total course becomes of 5.5 years.Presently the stipend is around 23-24k for undergraduate students.After doing MBBS one can practice as a general physician and also one can focus for post graduation degrees.

College Events

AGON is presently the largest and the biggest medifest in the whole Eastern India.We enjoy a lot and reputed artist from all over India come to perform in our fest.This year Amit Trivedi came.Last year we had Neha Kakkar performing in Agon.We also celebrate Saraswati Puja,Diwali and various festivals in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible since it is the government college.Fee is around 750 bucks per month and 4500 bucks in a semester.So it is quite cheap as compared to other institutions specially private ones.

Admission

Via NEET entrance test.I have been preparing for medicals since my higher secondary classes and i cracked NEET and passes ISC simultaneously.My AIR was 16056 and SR was 617 and i got admitted to Calcutta National Med Collg

Faculty

The faculty in out college is teally amazing.They teach us with extra care and also scold us.But classes are held regularly and our teacher are very friendly with us.They always help us if we are facing a difficult situation in any field.

Placement Experience:

After ninth semester student are eligible for internship and campus. Stipened paid is twenty eight thousand. This is good stipened as in other states this is fifteen to twenty thousand. Almost hundred percent student got placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

The course is very noble. It gives us the power to heal others. When I was a child, i was impressed by the ability and skills of a doctor. The patient family were treating him like god. So i decided to pursue it because of the amount of respect and wealth we gain. In the real world it helps us to become a good person, interact with the injured society and connect to the people emotionally. Teaching methods could be improved by giving more and more real life examples and exposing to the wards and clinics. Learning is more fun when we do more practicals. The college must ensure that more and more practical classes and clinical exposure is given to the students so that they can learn effeciently. The cases of the cirriculum should be given to the students to look how they handle it.

Best medical College in west bengal

I choose this college because this was the best college I was getting with my NEET rank for sure. The college is located in the heart of Kolkata. All modes of transport are available. The college is of good reputation for teaching the students. The hospital is a large tertiary care hospital that handles more than 1000 patients daily. Foods are best in Kolkata here. Your query on CNMC can solve this

I also applied Nilratan sirkar Medical college, PG hospital and R.G. Kar medical college and hospital. Then I got confirmed admission from R.G.Kar and CNMC. However I decided to study in CNMC. Because my relative studies in this college and also it is better than R.G. Kar . The transport is good here in CNMC as it is situated in central Kolkata. The college ground is comparatively more bigger and good in CNMC. I got rejection from PG as I didn't make it in Cut off marks. In admission process at first one have to crack neet exam and getting good marks (nowadays one should get 650 above marks)is make them to get admission in selective medical colleges through counselling.
