Remarks :
If you know you are a good students who can balance academics as well as the numerous bucket of opportunities then this place belongs to you. You just need to give you best and the best will come to you. Also the transporation facility is there and it is free of cost.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Whether we talk about the Curriculum or the Exam Structure, everything is well managed. The division of subjects according to the work load in different semesters is quite a well done job. We are having 3 mid semester assesment tests out of which best 2 are considered and final semester exams.
Placement Experience :
There are numerous opportunities of getting placed in one of the biggest MNC's of India. I am currently in 7th semester and already being placed in not 1 company but in three of them. I am selected in Infosys, Cognizant and Mechlin Solutions. The highest package offered to me is 4 lac per annum. Also you can apply for the business development post for which the maximum package is 10 lac per annum. No internships are provided on behalf of our college.
College Events :
There are a lot of events happening all around the year. Here's the list:- 1.Freshers Party- The day when you may find your loved one. 2. Departmental Events:- Every departments has a particular duration of days in which they organize events which include games,puzzle solving and a lot more fun activities. 3. Hostel nights:- These are celebrated in hostels which are separate for boys and girls. You can dance the best in this event. 4. SECA- It is our college annual event. You need some skill to participate and also interviews are conducted to be in the organizing committe of this event.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It is also ok. For the students who are goof im academics they have Fee Waivers in which you pay half of the fees. According to the marks secured in you 12th grade you will have to pay your fees. Some students who have scored more than 90 percentile are paying only 10% of the total fees.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is a scholarship offer that if someone is financially weak and scored more than 70% in all the semesters than the fees will be halved of what they are paying. You just need to submit a copy of income affidavit and your result.
Campus Life :
There are separate labs for each department. They are having a Professional Skills Lab, A chemistry lab, Cloud Computing lab, Major project lab, Computational lab, BEEE lab for electrical engineering students and a lab for placement test in which web cams are provided for the tests. There is an annual sports meet every year which is for 3 days and you can also earn some medals and certificates from the reputed players who are representing the country worldwide.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels are much better than any other college. You can opt for any room i.e. single double or triple seater as per your preference. The charges of hostel are minimum. You will have to pay 4000 for 6 months and the charges of food are separate which is around 2500 per month for one person.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes they are. If you have any queries you can call any of the staff member at any time of the day. They are always there to help you in academic as well as the non academic issues. Also you can interact with seniors and learn on which projects they are working, what are they studying to get placed, in which fields they are doing their trainings.
Admission :
Before entering here. This college was not in my list. I wanted to get admission in GNDU Amritsar. Unfortunately I could not make to it. So I went to Lovely Professional University. I was the most horrible period of my life.I came back from there after three days. Then i took admission in this college. The admission procedure went really smooth. I feel lucky to be here.
Faculty :
They are the most supportive people. You can call them anytime, visit their offices or even clear your doubts in canteens. Some are there who do not bother anything else than completing their syllabus but most of them are the bestest you can ever get.
