Remarks :

There are positive as well as negative. The college campus is awesome. Full of hills trees and full positive vibes. But several college management decisions are not acceptable. They are the only negative part.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is good. A little bit tough to study. But An average student can perform good at this course. I have studied new university and revised syllabus. Apj abdul Kalam technological university. The exam pass mark is 45 out of 100.

Placement Experience :

Job opportunity is less. our college have placement cell and placement opportunities. But our mechanical department have less opportunities last year. And there is no internship program provided by college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible, this year onwards the fee is reduced in a large margin. Last year the yearly fee was 75000 for merit students but this year it is about 30000. Great reductions in tution fees. But transportation and other fees are same.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no particular scholarship offered by the college. But there are special fees reduction for those who scores high marks in plus two and entrance. Also entrance rank is main criteria.

Campus Life :

Labs are perfectly ok. All equipments are there. Superb environment and well developed lab and all machinery. Overall growth of college is very high. Works for New ground for sports is going on. There are also other extra curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities :

No, I was not in hostel. The college hostel is inside the college campus. Near to college. Its not so good but its ok. The infrastructure is best. And the college sorroundings are awesome green everywhere.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are awesome. No ragging all were like a family. I loved those mechanical students. We were simply the best in that college in terms of unity. No words to describe. Loved it. Missing the college and seniors.

Admission :

I have written Entrance Exam of Kerala (Keam) In this exam i have qualified. Then i have applied for btech mechanical Engineering this college. Then i have got allotment there. And i have taken admission.

Faculty :

My college have a best faculty. Some are average but more of them are experienced and efficient. All are friendly and energetic. The mechanical department is awesome. We were like a family there and no words to describe them.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
