College Review

Remarks :

The only negative feedback is the infrastructur. Our college premise is pretty small except that everything is good. Our premise is neat and clean and well disciplined. We have our own basketball court and parking as well.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The examination and course curriculum is totally based to market demand. The hot skills which required in the market is there in our course curriculum. We have a trimester examination structure which implies after every 4months there is an examination and in totality we have 6 trimester.

Placement Experience :

We have 5 verticals and overall around 80% students got placed every year and around 18% students go for higher studies. Except that Summer internship program is also there for first year students. Different companies from various part of the country come for SIP as well.Stipend is around 20k to 1.2lac.

College Events :

"Panache" that is annual fest occurs around February and it help for 3 days, which consists various events from morning to evening. Inter college Basketball tournament, which have total 15 team and among them 5 teams were girls.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees structure is around 8 lac for 2 years which is compatibly low from other B-Schools. But it doesn't include hotel fees, uniform fees or placement fees. Apart from all, in this fee structure we got the best possible things in our premises.

Campus Life :

Annual sports day happened around December month. Different sports include basketball, tug of war and many more. We have an E lab which consists more than 100 computers. They are good as well as efficient.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure is perfectly fine though it's quite far from college. It provides lift, wifi facility, common room. And rooms are available for One sharing, two and four sharing. The place of hostel is quite nice and everything which is needed can be found around corners.

Alumni/Alumna :

XISS is famous or welo knowned for his rich alumni base. We have alumnus place in all over the world. They helped us a lot during placement time, it's because of them every year bunch of people got placed in different companies.

Admission :

I appeared for CAT examination on the year 2017 and I got 65 percentile. Via cat marks we can apply for different B-Schools if the criteria matched. For my case, my criteria matched with XISS's criteria. They gave a call for Group discussion as well as Personal Interview round. After cracking both the rounds I got selected or I go through the admission procedure.

Faculty :

Our faculty are the best part of XISS, they are not only a good scholar also great teacher. They guide us, taught us, entertain us by professional way. They have a vast knowledge and we get valuable information from them only.

Placement Experience:

100% placement assistance is provided to the students and after in the term of placement of the students university is too good at it. And they focus each and every students for the placement drive and after all it's totally depends upon the student whether they want to opt in for the placement drive or they want to opt out for the placement drive due to higher studies and starting or managing their own business.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good considering the fees which is charged by XISS. The overall ROI is great and most of the big MNCs and organisations come for the college placements. It completely depends on the individual how he/she cracks the interview. College gives everyone the opportunity to sit for the placement process

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students get eligible for placements. I guess around more than 50+ companies visit the campus. The highest package is always around 20+ lakhs and on average you can consider 12 lakhs while the lowest is 8 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed can be said around 95%. My plan is to get a good corporate job and work there as such no fancy plans.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The HR course was quite comprehensive. Lots of subjects were dedicated to different functionalities of HR. Lots of focus on Law, and employee benefits, worker rights and employer responsibility. The course boasts of some of the stalwarts of the industry teaching different courses such as the Professor who teaches compensation is responsible for designing the compensation structure over at HUL. It's very comprehensive, and periodically reviewed to remain relevant to the changing times

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Fate, I just slipped in the name of the college, 'social service'. Never do that mistake. That too if u r experienced, Please do not even see the college website. I chose rural management, funny. 75 students in a class. 6-7 faculty in the department. Half of the faculty doesn't speak proper English. There is a lady called Aditi who is placement coordinator. She cannot speak a word in English. She is the placement coordinator.... just imagine situation of the placement. In the second year of the college, from each department, a placement representative will be selected through election. All the PRs should work under her. That's the horrible part. She is a coordinator but acts like a gangster. U cannot call her with name. In 2020, that too a professional course, u cannot call anybody with name. Same old slave mentality. U should call by mam and sir. She ruined my entire second year because I was a non hindi speaking student. Teaching faculties are well qualified but 1940-50 methodologies

Remarks:

IMS is located in the heart of Capital of Jharkhand Ranchi surrounded by Parks and greenery. College is good. I can give 8 out of 10. It's not like IIMs or other prestigious colleges but it is nice college to explore your inner talent.
