Exam structure of uptu is similar to jee main and but a easier version of that because there is no negative marking there and guessing plays a major role to decide the class of college you will be getting in
College Events :
A freshers a tech fest a sports summit no cultural fest and this college is worst in this type of activity student are likely to feel bored here and the admristration has lot of excuses to not organise all of that.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
As compared to a govt college it is very high the anually fee of btech is 83643/- which much greater than as compared to other govt uptu colleges and when we go to facts it's not totally govt it's self finnanced.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Up scholarship is the only scholarship provided by college in which there is no surity that your scholarship will come or not nevertheless the people in the office may distrub you so much that during the process you wouldn't able to attend your class and if it comes amount nearly 60k
Campus Life :
Labs in the college are good and grounds are also decent but grounds are not maintained regularly and there are a long grasses and also no any equipment are provided by autority to play.you have to purchase your own if interested
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is good and hostel life too.it's affordable and much less charge as compared to other private hostels in kanpur it charge is 42k per annum food is average but other facilities are awsm and you will enjoy your engineering life here
Alumni/Alumna :
Ya seniors are very helpful here.here a good network and open surrounding exist between senior and juinor. when you come in first year you have a great fear from ragging.but when you intract with them you will be not even feel that you are ragged only introduction and chit chat are done with them to open their mind in college. senior are very helpful in acdmics
Admission :
By qualifying uptu examination mostly students doing prepration of jee mains also interested in uptu and also there are some of average University and engineering college in uptu may be 10 in count.so go for it.it's a better safe plan if you not get so lucky to have a seat in IIT or NITs
Faculty :
Excellent for CSE and ECE branch but not for other core branches other branches like ME, MSME, IT, CHE, Doesn't have teachers well quality and qualified these two branches have good scope in future and also give uiet great alumins
