Remarks :

There is both positive face of collge and negative face. Hostel food is really very bad. Transportation facility is not good. No student Union. Site of College is at very peacefull place. Well experienced faculty Way of teaching is good But no practical work.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Architecture is one of the toughest course according to Guinness worl record. In this course you have to work from both part of your mind left(for creativeness,arts&e.t.c) as well as right(for mathematical and theoretical practices). In this course exam your main subject is architectural design and all other subjects are tool to do this subject. Exam structure is based on your subjects if you had a building construction exam(one of the major subject) then you have to make drawings as well as you have to write theory. Architectural design exam is 6 hrs exam upto 4sem students and for above 4th sem it is 12 hrs exam in two days shift 6 hrs/day.

Placement Experience :

In architecture field we have to search our own internship. College only mark your performance during your internship. I m in 3rd year, Next year i have my internship And i start preparing my portfolio to get the internship under good firm.

College Events :

There are very few events celebrated 8n our college. 1. Freshers party 2. Mosaic 3. Lohri function Some times teej function and besakhi also celebrated in our college. But you have to pay contribution amount for every event.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible as compare to other architecture colleges. But only tution fee is feasible. Hostel fee is not so much high but hostel facilities are not up to the mark. Even below average Mess food is not good. Washrooms and bathrooms got stucks many times. In girls hostel numher if room is not enough.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I belong to general category so i really don't know very well about these facilities But there is especial scholarships for student those who belogs to kashmir. And for those who belongs to sikkim. They get very good amount of scholarship.

Campus Life :

No extracurricular activity, You have to do everything on your own. No sport or activity organised by college. Only freshers party organised by college mangement but you have to pay for that too. No practical practices done for architecture students.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very cooperative. Raging free campus. All kind of help related to academics. Friendly nature. Even you can discuss your personal issues. Educational trips are organised with seniors too.

Admission :

I clear my jee mains paper 2. Then i got this admission. My elder brother make me aware about this college's faculty and architectural practices which makes me more curious to take admission in this college.

Faculty :

We have well experienced faculty. But some new faculty is not so good. They teaches from slideshare or through internet and all. But in main subjects such as building construction, architectural design, architectural drawing we have well experienced teachers. Over all faculty is good.

Remarks:

Our college has a peaceful environment with vast campus space. But the infrastructure is old. Also there isn't placement opportunities for the students. The hostels can be improved by a great deal. But the faculty is good, although some practical work can be improved in teaching.

Admission:

I was interested in pursuing Bachelors in Architecture and those opted for this college. I took the JEE Main Paper 2 and qualified it. Sat for the counselling and got the college in the later rounds of counselling. Admissions to the college are done based on the merit. However, certain seats are also offered through management quota.

Placement Experience:

Internship opportunities are available for students. Students can search for Internship outside and the placement cell also guides students about the same. Placement rate of the college is nice. A good number of companies come to the campus and students can also explore job opportunities outside. Many seniors have got decent placement package.

Remarks:

It typically takes a semester or quarter to hit your stride. Looking back on those early days you may very well shake your head and wonder what all the fuss was about. You might even feel a little nostalgic! A few students, however, may feel overwhelmed and homesick for a while. They may miss their parents, friends, even the family dog. They may find that going to college is not quite what they expected. If this turns out to be you, take advantage of on-campus counseling services. Virtually all colleges have such services. Your health center staff can help you get started. They are highly experienced at helping students just like you.

Entrance Preview:

I took the NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture) and obtained the score 80 / 200 . I appeared once again for the examination in the same year and scored 100/200 so average was calculated as 90.

Admission:

I migrated from another college in 2nd year to RIMT, as it was recommended by a friend. I went to the campus in the month of August and got the form from them. After the form was filled , it was immediately submitted and got the admission confirmed within nearly a week.
