Remarks :

I am an alumnus of the Academy of Architecture, Mumbai. I had many memorable memories of the Academy. It shaped my career for good. Now I am working as a freelance contractor in Mumbai. The dedication of our faculty and my love for the field of architecture really helped me get to where I am today. I will definitely recommend this institute to all the young architectural aspirants.

Course Curriculum Overview :

At Academy of Architecture more emphasis is paid towards the concept of design, incorporated with the technological advancements. Aim of the course structure is for the benefits of the environment while delivering aesthetically pleasing designs.

College Events :

The management keep on motivating students to participate in many national and international competitions to push students in order to excel in the field of architecture and to promote innovation at the same time. Some of these activities are, Solar Decathlon, Transparence, Adarsh photography competition, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

First year fee for the B. Arch program was around 1,50,000 lacs, which I paid in installments. The institute also offers many scholarships to students who perform exceptionally well in the field of architecture.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The Academy offers many scholarships like Saint Gobain Scholarship worth 1 lac for students, to students showing a distinct vision in the field of architecture and designing.

Alumni/Alumna :

Academy has been consistently providing the society with top class designers, planners, Architects, who have contributed in improving the quality of life and environment. Many of these alumni revisit the campus to give guest lectures to the architects of the future.

Admission :

There are 60 seats for the B. Arch program. Admission to the program is through, common admission process (CAP) conducted by Technical Education Maharashtra State.

Faculty :

We had one of the best faculties in the institute. All of them had a working experience of considerable time duration. Their valuable insight literally helped us get a proper grasp of the concepts in no time.

Students get campus placement after last yr. Although they become eligible for internship after 3rd yr University exams . Some students get the opportunity to go to France through students exchange programme in 4th yr for 11 months.

Placement Experience:

The campus provides placements for 5th-year and 3rd-year ID students. There are about 10-15 companies that come for placements. The average package of the company would be roughly 2,50,000 to 3,00,000.

Placement Experience:

campus placement is generally eligible in the last year. for architecture, the term campus placement is not fitting in this college. there is only a single company taking students from here in the name of campus placement. the intake is less than 5 students out of 80. more students go for starting a firm by their own or do post-graduation. i think ill do the post graduation after my degree.

Admission:

Admissions into any architectural university nowadays are purely through NATA. This university doesn't choose to differ as well. The minimum marks to be scored in boards is 50% with PCM as the stream. The candidate has to apply online and pay the fee online too.

Placement Experience:

There are very little/no placements as of now. But the student can take up internship programs if he/she is interested with stipend. The college doesn't provide them stipend. The college however grooms us well to face situations like placements.

Admission:

I wrote JEE mains and NATA as I was very determined in getting into architecture someway or the other. Luckily I got into B.Arch at TSAP with my NATA score and Board score cumulative. One has to score a minimum of 50% in his/her boards. The NATA and JEE mains cut off varies from year to year.

Placement Experience:

Placement training at TSAP is excellent, we have frequent workshops, the institute even takes up live projects where students could lend a hand. Most of them do their post-graduation and the rest of them get placed in firms for experiencing a job.
