Remarks :

I am in third year of my B. Arch program and till now my experience has been quite good with the institute. Fee is a bit higher, but faculty and campus life is good. I am loving it here. It’s a place where you can find both learning and fun at the same place.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was good enough to prepare us for the exam and the practical classes were thorough enough to prepare a student for the practical world.

Placement Experience :

Placement is not good in the Academy. You have to look for a job on your own.

College Events :

The extracurricular activities included dancing, singing competition being organised on the occasion of various cultural events. Recently the Hudco team of our institute gave a presentation in TISS (Tata institute of social science) on the issue of homeless in the city.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The first year fee for the aided program is Rs. 70,000. The fee was quite high especially since there is no concession either. Even the scholarship is for the top performers only.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The scholarships are for economically weak students. Saint Gobain Scholarship is for students who participate and win the competition.

Campus Life :

College timing was 7.30 - 2.30 PM every day. Thus we had plenty of personal time to revise, prepare for assignments and take care of personal business. The food is costly, and there is no hostel facility either. Library is good though.

Admission :

Admission is based on the entrance test. I appeared for the test and the result was declared in the month of july, post which I was called for the documentation process.

Faculty :

Faculty is only good for those students who take care of their academic performance. That’s fine by me. Overall the faculty cooperates with the students and help in every possible way and literally make the learning fun.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a challenging course but it is also a holistic profession which includes equal amt. Of technicality and design eq which makes it a bit challenging. But it helps you with development of your skills and also helps you with personality development. You can achieve great heights in this course if you really are passionate about this field or else it will overtake your life and will make it more challenging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is can be really complex because there are many subjects, but it can be fun when you're really focused and interested, Currently I have 11 subjects in 3rd year, but you have to be really good at time management, in order to succeed or get good grades and prepare a decent portfolio/resume for a better future/career.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The academic load is there but if at any point we have any difficulty in not completing the assignments, the faculty is understanding. It does affect the marks but you can always improve. The teaching schedule is planned and given to us. One main thing is that we started designing our own structures in first sem itself with plans elevations and sections and models of it. While the other colleges haven't done that.

Placement Experience:

From semester 8 student becomes eligible it is a period when the internships began. Students are getting placed in very good firms throughout the country and even a few of them are getting positions in foreign countries. Around 70-75% are getting hired every year but mostly based on their performance throughout the year. I'm not sure whether the companies come to college and pick students but yes students have options and opportunities to approach the firm and they certainly get placed. Even faculties are also good helpful and give the opportunity to join their firm itself.

Remarks:

The area around college is still developing and students need to travel around to find good hangout spots. They infrastructure is quite dull. They faculty are experienced but lack practicality.

Admission:

The admission is based on the NATA scores. The admission process is quite lengthy. You have to wait for the merit list.

Placement Experience:

The placement could be better. As is not able to manage placement activities in a proper way due to lack of management and managing personnel.

Placement Experience:

After a government college recognition and your portfolio work its easier to get a job. College doesn't do any placement. None of the architectural colleges do placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good. It's putting in a lot of work, that's architecture though . Paractical learning is through site visits mostly. Any Electives can be chosen front the list provided by the university.
