XLRI GMP (General Management Program) is structured beautifully and ideal for students with more than 60 months of experience in the industry. The courses are updated with the latest industry trends. Scope of peer learning is huge. You will get to learn a lot from the experienced peers you will share your classroom with. As per the highlights of the past few years, XLRI placements for GMP are pretty good. The average CTC for the program is INR 17.8 LPA.

XLRI is a well-known college for all general management program courses. The college has been ranked in the 9th position in the list of top B-Schools in India by NIRF. And XLRI is the 3rd best B-School by Business Today. Also, it’s recognized as the hub for career growth and prospects for management students.

Here are a few quick highlights of the college in the General Management Program(GMP).

Admission Process:

  • XLRI accepts students for GMP purely based on the entrance exams and academic excellence.

  • Students get admission through XAT. While NRI students get admission either through XAT or GMAT.

  • GMP is a 15-month program. Candidates should hold a minimum of bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in management or supervisory.

  • The total course fee is 20 LPA.

  • The total seats in this course are 120. Students are enrolled based on the entrance exam and personal interview.

Placements:

  • The college has a 100% placement record each year. Over 350 students get placed in several companies with good salary packages.

  • The highest and average domestic salary packages are 30 LPA and 20 LPA respectively. While the highest and lowest international salary packages are 58 LPA and 15 LPA respectively.

  • Over 25% of the students hold 21 LPA, 10% of the students hold 23 LPA and over 50% of the students hold 20 LPA.

  • 86 students get placed in the top companies from GPM. Out of these, 20 students hold international work experience through internships and other workshops.

  • The most frequently visiting companies for general management students are Amazon, Dell Genpact, ITC, Tata Consultancy Services, Deloitte, Cognizant, Accenture, Goldman Sachs, Fidelity, Syntel, Byjus, ACT, PWC, EY, KPMG, AON, Korn Ferry, Vector Group, Everest Group, Thoucentric Consulting, Infosys, and many more.
