AKTU is a public university under the umbrella of Uttar Pradesh government. It comprises more than 800 colleges and is among the largest technical universities in Asia.

Whereas UPSEE or Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination is a state level entrance examination. This exam opens gates for admission at government aided as well as private unaided institutes that are affiliated to UPTU.

The programs offered are as follows:

BTech (engineering)
BTech (agricultural engineering)
BArch
BPharma
hotel management
fashion & apparel design (1st year as well as lateral entry in 2nd year)

Apart from this exam enables you to secure admissions in post graduate dual degree courses such as MBA and MCA.
