Is AIIMS Bhopal better than AIIMS Bhubaneswar?
The academics at all the AIIMS are the same. However, AIIMS Bhubaneswar follows a strict and tight academic schedule with weekly tests and quizzes to keep students on their toes. To help them prepare better for the final professional exams. While, AIIMS Bhopal follows a liberal approach, although the weekly tests are not conducted students must know that semester exams are always tough.
Both AIIMS Bhopal and AIIMS Bhubaneswar offer an annual intake of 125 seats for the MBBS program through merit in NEET UG. The Round 1 opening rank for MD/MS courses at AIIMS Bhopal in the INI CET 2024 January Session stood at 46 and 43 at AIIMS Bhubaneswar for General Category students. Admission is quite competitive at both AIIMS Bhopal and AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

AIIMS Bhopal Placement 2023 was concluded for MBBS and MD/MS students. The median package offered to MBBS stood at INR 13.3 LPA and MD/MS students stood at INR 18 LPA.
Although, AIIMS Bhopal and AIIMS Bhubaneswar offer the best education and infrastructure. AIIMS Bhopal is better in terms of placements compared to AIIMS Bhubaneswar. As per NIRF 2023 reports, the median package offered to MD/MS Students at AIIMS Bhopal is 16.6% greater than that at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

The teaching at all peripheral AIIMS is the same, so it is more a question of which one has better administration. AIIMS Bhubaneswar has a strict and disciplined administration when it comes to academics. Weekly tests are conducted to determine the students’ eligibility to sit for their final professional exams.
The batch intake for MBBS has increased, so single room allotment in the second year is under question. Fresher girls are allotted a 1 BHK flat with attached washroom and balcony. It is shared by three students. As for boys, they are allotted a double seater hostel room with no attached washroom, in their first year.
The academic block and hospital are all completed and well-constructed. The college crowd is culturally diverse. The student organization SAAB organizes various events where students can showcase their talent and skills.
A decent knowledge of English and Hindi is enough to survive on campus and in the city. Bhubaneswar is a beautiful, peaceful and well connected city. The airport and railway connectivity is quite good.
Thus according to me, AIIMS Bhubaneswar is a better option as compared to AIIMS Bhopal.

AIIMS Bhubneswar is better. The institute offers good academics. There are weekly examinations in the first year. All the labs are equipped with latest instruments. The campus has an air-conditioned library with a reading room.
The campus has good sports facilities. There are basketball courts, badminton courts,s and tennis courts. Many sports and cultural activities are organized throughout the academic year. Chiasma is the annual college fest.

AIIMS Bhubaneswar is comparably better than AIIMS Bhopal. Here are some of the facts that make it superior.
- It is the second cleanest hospital in the country.
- The pioneer batch of the institute that had only 50 students and limited resources performed really well in various PG entrances.
- The academics offered at the institute are great. Most faculties are alumni of reputed institutes like AIIMS Delhi or JIPMER.
- The infrastructure has improved a lot over the years. The hostel accommodation is quite good. It has all basic facilities.
- Chiasma, the college fest of AIIMS Bhubaneswar is one of the largest fests conducted by a medical college in India.
These facts make AIIMS Bhubaneswar a better option.
