Studied LLB, Lloyd Law College (2017)

For a law degree, Lloyd Law College is an average college. There are various reasons as to why Lloyd is not treated as a good college-

  1. The faculty members are not treated properly and do not pay them below the UGC norms.
  2. NLU teachers were previously teaching here but they have left the college. Their concerns were not looked after properly.
  3. You will hardly find any research paper writing or moot activity happening on the campus.
  4. There are no criteria for attendance and anyone can sit for exams. This creates very poor competition among the students.
  5. The fee structure does not match with the quality of education and facilities available here at Lloyd Law College. It is not worth it.

It would be a better option if you have a good score in CLAT, then you should opt for NLU.

How good is lloyd law college compared to Amity Law School Noida?

TG
Tanmoy Ghose Posted On : September 7th, 2021
B.A.L.L.B from Lloyd Law College (2017)

Lloyd Law College and Amity Law College have a few similarities. Here are some of them.

  • Both of these institutions belong to the Non-NLUs category and neither of them is among the top 10-15 law schools in the country.
  • Both are private colleges but since they are in NCR, the students get an edge of better exposure for litigation as well as judicial services preparation over similar colleges.

Here are some facts for comparison.

  • In terms of Campus, Amity has hi-tech amenities and definitely stands ahead as they have a vast campus.
  • In terms of fee structure, Amity charges much more than Lloyd Law college.
  • In terms of the study environment, Lloyd is changing for the better but the affiliation with CSS University is not very helpful. Amity has a mixed environment.
  • In terms of faculty, Both are alike. Both colleges share the same kind of professors as both of them are private.

In conclusion, it is important to grab the opportunities wherever you go. Both of these are good, however, Lloyd is getting better with each passing day, and you will get better opportunities there.

Is Lloyd College, Noida good for law?

AB
Aman Bhatia Posted On : September 8th, 2021
Law Psychology & People Skills, Lloyd Law College (2018)

Lloyd Law College is a good law college in Greater Noida. Its location offers a great advantage. You cannot compare it with an NLU or other private institution like Amity or Symbiosis. The faculty members at the law department are average and there is nothing exceptional about the infrastructure too.

If anybody in your family is in the law firm at a good post, then it will make a great difference. However, if your goal is judiciary or a government job, then be ready for the struggle. And if you are looking already working and want a degree, then it will definitely boost your CV.

Go for the law degree only if you are deeply interested in this field as the college does not matter, only your hard work will.

If Llyod Law College is your last choice, you can go for it. Otherwise, try to look for better options.

Which is a better law college, IMS Law College Noida or Lloyd Law College?

L.L.B Bachelor of Law, Lloyd Law College (2018)

Among IMS Law College and Lloyd Law college, it would be better to join IMS. I have friends from both institutes. According to their experience, Lloyd does not offer good career opportunities. The administration is quite strict. The faculty team is also not good. The peer group at the institute is not that cooperative.

According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at Lloyd Law College is 3 LPA. In IMS Law College the average CTC offered is 3.5 LPA.

You can reach out to the current students of the institute to know more.

The recognition and reputation of a college can play an important role in your education and future career. In the case of law schools in India, Symbiosis Law College (SLS) stands out as a top choice with a strong reputation and recognition across the country. Choosing SLS is a wise decision for BA LLB among Asian law college, IMS law college, Lloyd college, and Symbiosis Law School, Noida, considering the college's reputation and recognition.

However, it's also important to keep in mind that the college you attend is not the only factor that will determine your success in a law career. The quality of your education, the knowledge you gain, and the skills you develop will ultimately shape your future career. This is why it's crucial to focus on your own learning and development and to use your college years as an opportunity to build a strong foundation of knowledge and practical skills.

In conclusion, while the recognition and reputation of a college can be a valuable consideration when making your choice, it is ultimately your own knowledge, skills, and abilities that will determine your success in a law career. By making the most of your college years and focusing on your own learning and development, you can set yourself up for a successful future in the field of law.

L.L.B from Lloyd Law College (2018)

One of my friends is pursuing Law from Lloyd and according to him Lloyd is an amazing college and the faculty team is also quite knowledgeable.

Here are some of the pros and cons of the institute.

Pros:

  • The college has a beautiful campus with greenery.
  • Weekly seminars, national and international level competitions, quizzes, and other activities are regularly held.
  • The campus placements are very good. Big companies, firms, and banks recruit students during placement drives. The average CTC offered is around 3 LPA.

Cons:

  • The fee structure is quite rigid.
  • The attendance policy is very strict.
  • The faculties are changed frequently.

Overall, Lloyd is a good option for pursuing a law degree.

Is Lloyd Law College situated in Greater Noida good?

SP
Shreyansh H. Patil Posted On : September 7th, 2021
Studies B.A L.L.B at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad (2021)

One of my friends was a student of Lloyd Law College and he didn’t have a good experience at the institute.

  • The institute does not treat its faculty members properly. The institute makes faculties work even on Sundays.
  • The major pitfall the students saw was the class timings. Earlier, the timings were stretched from 9.15 A.M to about 5 P.M, but only recently, the timings were shifted to 8.30 A.M to 5.30 P.M.
  • The institute mandates faculty members to perform various clerical works so as to avoid recruiting real clerks.
  • The HOD of BA LLB is a history professor and not law. Oftentimes, he was witnessed imposing unjust ultimatums on students.

So, if you have other options go for it, don’t join Lloyd Law College.

Lloyd Law College is affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University. It has been ranked 2nd by the Hansa Research Survey as per the year 2019 in the Week magazine, following Army Institute of Law, Mohali for its best performance. India Today has also recently ranked it 1st for the best salary package, among other private law colleges.
