Which college is better, Gargi College or Janki Devi Memorial College?
Comparably Janki Devi Memoria College is better. It offers a better academic and faculty base. The college has many clubs and societies. Almost everyone at the institute is engaged in some kind of extracurricular. The campus is green, handicapped friendly. The placement cell of the institute is active and invites major MNCs to the campus for placement drives. Symphony, the JDMC annual fest is one of the best fests in DU.

- The college infrastructure is quite good.
- The student crowd is decent. You will get to meet all kinds of people on campus.
- Quite often, the cultural societies of the college put up great shows be it dance, street play, or music.
- According to the recent placement highlights, the highest CTC offered to the students is around 12 LPA.

How is DU’s Gargi College?
Under DU, Gargi College is one of the best colleges. Here is a general review of the college.
- The college has a great infrastructure. There are separate Science, Commerce and Arts blocks. There are grounds made for different sports like Cricket, Tennis, Basket Ball, etc.
- It has a number of clubs and societies. The Indian dance society is named Nazhakat and the street play society is known as Kshitij. You can participate in many extracurricular activities.
- The library has a huge collection of books, accompanied by an air-conditioned reading zone.
- The college has strict rules regarding attendance. Students need to maintain at least 75% attendance throughout the semester, in order to be eligible for the final examination.
- The students union at Gargi College organizes one of the most popular fests in DU, i.e Reverie.
Which college is better for a BCom honors: Daulat Ram or Gargi?
Both these colleges are good options for pursuing a BCom honors. The quality of academics offered at these colleges is decent. However, being situated at the North campus, Daulat Ram has an edge over Gargi College. The faculty base is great at DRC. You will get decent exposure along with the advantages of being on the north campus.
Which is better, IP College for Women or Gargi College?
There is no clear winner. Both IP College for Women and Gargi College have their advantages. So, you should choose among these two institutes, based on your course of choice and the distance of the institute from your home. For Commer courses, Gargi College is better, while for Arts, it’s IP College. IP is a north-campus college, so it is a bit isolated from the other colleges. The number of societies at both colleges is almost equal.

Life at Gargi College, DU is competitive yet fun. The academics offered at the college is great. It also has a decent infrastructure. There are many societies and clubs. Reverie, the annual fest of the college is one of the most popular fests in DU. Overall, you will have a memorable time on campus.
Which college is better for a BCom honours: Gargi college, Indraprastha College for women or Daulat Ram College?
Among these institutes, Daulat Ram Collge has a great Commerce faculty base. The professors are well-experienced and dedicated. They help students with their doubts even after college hours.
It is situated on the north campus. It is a fun place to be. There is always some event going on. Also, Daulat Ram has a great fest called Manjari.
Gargi College and Indraprastha College for Women are also good alternatives. If you clear the required cutoff for all these colleges, your preference order should be Daulat Ram>I.P>Gargi.
Which college is better for a B.Com (honours) Gargi college, Indraprastha College for women or Daulat Ram College?
One of my friends studied Commerce at Daulat Ram and it had a fantastic faculty. Here are some things that she considered made it better than the other two.
- The professors were dedicated and committed to their classes. They were highly experienced as well.
- The college recently had many positive improvements making it one of the most trendiest colleges.
- It is at the North Campus which was an advantage in itself.
- Culturally, Daulat Ram College (DRC) encouraged students to take part in fests, societies, clubs and even go for inter-collegiate competitions.
- Manjari is the most important college fest of DRC.
Indraprastha College is overall a beautiful college with very high education standards. But being a bit isolated from the North Campus, students tend to miss the city life.
Gargi more or less provides a similar atmosphere like DRC. Therefore, it is suggested that you opt for DRC or Gargi followed by Indraprastha College.
Which PG is better near Gargi College?
There are PGs available in Anand Lok right in front of the college. It has an upper hand considering the location. They provide all the necessary facilities. Students usually pay something around INR 12,000.
You can also look for PGs in GK (Greater Kailash) which is just 10 minutes away from college. They are a bit reasonable. They are fully furnished and have all the necessary amenities.
