If I have offer from both IIIT Bangalore and NIT Trichy for MTech CSE which will be a good option to choose?

The reputation of NIT Trichy as one of the best NITs is by far one of the driving forces of students choosing this institution. The CSE department of NIT Trichy has a curriculum that has been developed to meet the industry needs of the students. You will get to learn multiple programming languages as well as be able to use them on multiple projects. You will be encouraged to develop new software. There are instances where students become entrepreneurs on the campus and pitch their projects and software to investors.

- Course Fee- NIT Trichy is much more affordable for your M.Tech CSE. The fee is much higher at IIIT Bangalore.

- Location- Bangalore will offer you much more exposure. You’ll get to participate in multiple coding competitions at Bangalore.
- Brand name- NITT is a much bigger brand.
- Crowd- The M.Tech crowd is equally good at both. IIIT Bangalore doesn’t follow reservation criteria, but because the seats are high in number, the rank variation is also high. NITT follows reservation criteria, but the cutoffs are overall quite high due to limited seats.
- Campus- IIITB campus is very small. So NITT easily wins in this respect.
- Hostel facilities- IIIT Bangalore offers very good hostel facilities. In this respect it is way ahead of NITT.
- Academics- Both have equal workloads.
- Coding culture- (Only for masters’) The coding culture is way better at IIIT Bangalore.
