  • The duration of the course should be at least two years.
  • An IELTS score of 5.5 or above is mandatory.
  • The course should be equivalent to a New Zealand qualification that obtains a score in the Skilled Migrant Category.
  • Students can work full time during the New Year and Christmas.
  • Except for self-employment, freelancing, and engagement students have permission to all forms of work.
  • Overseas students looking for part-time or full-time work in New Zealand are entitled to a minimum salary of 20 NZD (~1045 INR).
  • There are no limitations on the number of hours you can work if you are enrolled in a master by research course or a doctorate degree program at a New Zealand tertiary institution.
