The institute has a good placement record as well. SGSITS, Indore placements have a median CTC of INR 5.20 LPA.

Which is better, Medicaps University, Indore, Chameli Devi College or LNCT, Bhopal?
Among the private colleges in Indore, LNCT Bhopal is the best option. It has good brand recognition in the industry. It has a good placement record, especially for branches like CS, EC, and IT. MNCs like Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. visit LNCT Bhopal placement. Students receive average CTC of around INR 4-5 LPA.
Is medicaps good after becoming a university?
It is very difficult to compare the college before and after becoming a university since it is very new. However, here are a few of the reviews and comparisons given by my friends at the institute.
- The average JEE Main score of 2015-19 batch (last batch of Rgpv at Medicaps) was 110+ as compared to previous batches which were around 70, 60, and even 20 at times.
- There were a lot of 80+ scoring students in board exams in the 2015 batch and now the cutoff scores for admission have been less.
- From the batch of 2015, only one person got a GATE rank of 50 and the rest were under 500 ranks.
- Most of the students of the last batch got admission in high b schools after passing out from this college like MDI Gurgaon, IIFT, IIsc Bangalore, IIM Indore, and other IIM’s.
- The college students have become more enthusiastic as most of the students have shared their initiatives on the Ted ex platform.
- Most of the IT and CS batch students have got two offers from the campus hiring process.
As of now, it is difficult to say definitely whether the institute has improved after becoming a university since it’s too early.
How is Medicaps University Indore in terms of placement in branches like EEE, EC mech?
Only 4-5% of students in private engineering colleges are placed in core EC and EEE companies. One of my friends studied at Medicaps and according to him, it is really good.
- In Medi-Caps, placements for EC are quite good, with approximately 60–70% of students being placed, primarily in IT companies such as TCS, DXC, Amdocs, Impetus, and others.
- Placements for EEE and Mechanical may not match that percentage; roughly 40% of students from both branches are placed.
- Companies such as the aforementioned IT firms or core companies such as Force Motors, Mahindra, Triveni turbines, visit the campus every year in search of good placements.

The choice between Holkar Science and Medicaps University for a B.Sc. in Computer Science is difficult, but it can be made efficiently if your motivation and future plans are clear.
- To put it simply, if you want to work in the government sector and B.Sc. is just a requirement for graduation, Holkar is the place for you.
- I'm not blaming its quality, but you'll undoubtedly get a better atmosphere for government sector job preparation.
- On the other hand, if you want your B.Sc. CS to be more practical and fruitful, consider doing it at Medi-Caps because, as a technical institute, it will certainly deal with more practical aspects.

- IET DAVV is better than MEDI CAPS in terms of extracurricular activities, events as well as college life.
Curriculum
- MEDI CAPS is a disciplinary institute where you will be fined an amount of 250/- for falling out of line.
- You do not have to worry much about all of this if you are in IET DAVV, provided you maintain the minimum amount of attendance required.
- IET DAVV is well known and renowned for its annual cultural fest, Aakshank. Many celebrities like Kailash Kher, Papon, DJ Willy, etc., have visited over the past years.
Overall, it seems that IET DAVV stands as a clear winner but MEDI CAPS has its advantages and offers good education.

Can I change my college from Ujjain Engineering College to Medi-Caps University in Indore in the 2nd year?
There is no surety that you can change from government to private college. Even if you get a chance to do that you should always choose your priority.
One of my friends was in a similar dilemma a few years back and he chose Medi-Cap University because it is located in Indore and he was looking for better coaching institutions. But nowadays coaching institutions are also available at Ujjain and you can study in college and do your preparation as well. Since Ujjain engineering college does not have a proper attendance system you will get a lot of time for further preparation.
Both the colleges are similar in nature, there is not much difference between them. Faculties are better at UEC in comparison to Medicaps University. Medi Caps University is a private institution the fees are quite high as compared to UEC college. UEC also offers a peaceful environment.
