Masters’ in Psychology from LPU

I am currently pursuing a Masters’ in Psychology from LPU. Pursuing MA Psychology at LPU is a good decision, and I have plenty of reasons to support my answer. 

A Psychology course at LPU brings lots of benefits-

  1. The very first is Quality Education- LPU is a renowned and leading private University in India. It has excellent academics. The MA Psychology curriculum is comprehensive and designed to give students a strong foundation in theoretical and applied psychology. 
  2. Faculty members- LPU has experienced faculty who have expertise in different specializations of psychology. The department faculty is highly experienced, educated and helpful.
  3. Specializations- LPU offers numerous specializations in the field of psychology including- clinical psychology, organizational psychology, forensic psychology, etc.
  4. LPU has modern research facilities for Psychology students/teachers. 
  5. Last but not least, Career Opportunities- LPU has tied up with several top firms which participate in LPU placements

Hence, MA Psychology in LPU is a good idea.

How is MA in development studies in IIT guwahati and Whats the procedure to apply ?

Some of my friends are currently pursuing their MA in Development Studies from IIT Guwahati. According to them, the curriculum and faculty are both very good. The placements are not regular, but the faculty has good connections to recommend the students for higher studies and jobs at well known establishments. To get admission into this course, you’ll have to undergo an entrance exam followed by a PI round. 

Here are the steps to apply for the course-

  1. Visit the official website of IIT Guwahati.
  2. Select the MA course (course that you want to enroll for).
  3. Register and then login to fill out the form.
  4. Fill the form, pay the application fee and submit the form.

The Application portal will open towards the end of March. But make sure to check the official website for regular schedule updates.

I have my graduation in Commerce, can I apply for Masters in clinical psychology in Chandigarh university without CUET?

No, you cannot pursue MA in Clinical Psychology after graduating in Commerce. The course requires you to have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with at least 50% marks in aggregate as well as in Psychology. The final selection for Chandigarh University MA Clinical Psychology is done through scores in CUCET.

B.Sc medical from DAV College, Chandigarh (2021)

If you haven't studied Psychology in graduation, you aren’t eligible to apply for MA Psychology at DAV Chandigarh. The required eligibility for the course is BA (Hons) in Psychology or BA with Psychology as one of the subjects with at least 50% aggregate mark. So, you need to have studied Psychology in graduation, in order to apply.

IGNOU MA English is a two-year-long course. This course follows a credit system. Each course of IGNOU MA English has certain credit associated with it. Each credit is equivalent to 30 study hours. There are 64 credits in total, and the courses are offered in a 2-tier structure.

The selection process for MA in Political Leadership & Governance comprises a written test followed by personal interview.

  1. Written Test: Combination of Descriptive & Objective type of Questions based on Current & Political Affairs, General Knowledge & Social Awareness.
  2. Personal Interview: Conducted by the Selection Panel designated by the Governing Council of MIT-WPU. They are aimed at evaluating the candidate's academic knowledge and general awareness. The Interview also aims to assess the aptitude of the candidate and their aspiration.

Admission Confirmation

The selected Applicants need to pay Rs. 1,50,000/- as the first installment of the total course fee of Rs.3lac/-. (Rs. 5000 + GST is non-refundable in case of withdrawal of admission on or before July 13, 2020 thereafter no refunds).
