Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has initiated special round counseling for UPTAC 2024, with registration open from October 11-16, and seat allotment based on CRL ranks for vacant seats in government and self-financed institutions.
The Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow has declared the commencement of Special Round Counseling for Vacant seats in Government and Government Self-Financed Institutions under UPTAC 2024. The special round would be carried out physically and gives a final opportunity to the candidates to seek admission into various technical and management programs. The registration window for the special round of counseling will be open from October 11, 2024 to October 16, 2024. Counseling was available for different courses, such as B.Tech, MBA, MCA, MCA Lateral Entry, and many other undergraduate programmes. All pertinent details related to registration and reporting are mentioned below.

Important Registration Details:
Eligible: All those applicants who had applied for the UPTAC in 2024 but did not receive an allotted seat or withdrew application in rounds 2 or 3 are eligible to register free of cost. However, they have to provide online consent for participating in the special round.
Fresh Registration : New applicants can apply for free through the registration process with a fee of INR 1000 while submitting their applications during the registration period.

Seat Allotment Process:
Candidates have to report in person at AKTU, Lucknow with two self-attested copies of required documents. Seat allotment is based upon CRL ranks and seat availability. Allotted candidates have to submit a demand draft of Rs 70,000 in favor of "Finance Officer, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh" payable at Lucknow. In default of this, the seat will be canceled and the amount paid will be adjusted towards the institution's fee.”
Important Instructions:
- Candidates need to reach the university with all required documents and should make sure that a demand draft is present to seal their seats immediately after allotment.
- Seats will be allotted only to those applicants who report in person and through processes that the university calls for.
