National Testing Agency has released the NEET 2025 Answer Key on June 3, 2025. Along with the provisional answer key, the scanned images of OMR answer sheet and recorded responses has been released on the official website – neet.nta.nic.in.
Candidates have the opportunity to raise objections against the NEET 2025 answer key and recorded responses. The objection window is open from June 3 to June 5, 2025. Pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 for each question or answer key challenge by June 5, 2025 (11.50 PM).
Thsi year, NEET 2025 exam was conducted on May 4, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM. Students are now eager to know how they performed. The final answer key of NEET 2025 will be out along with the NEET 2025 result, which will be declared on or before June 14, 2025.

How to Download NTA NEET 2025 Answer Key (Official)?
Candidates have to follow the steps given below to download the NEET 2025 OMR response sheets and provisional answer keys:
To download the NEET 2025 Answer key, you need to visit the official website of NEET 2025 – www.neet.nta.nic.in. Click on the link indicating NEET 2025 OMR sheets and NEET 2025 official answer keys. Log in with the NEET 2025 application number and password, or date of birth. Download the OMR sheet and set-wise NEET 2025 answer key (provisional). Now, compare the recorded responses from your OMR sheet and answer keys.
How to Calculate Marks Using NEET 2025 Answer Key?
Once you have both your NEET 2025 question paper and the NEET UG answer key 2025, identify your paper set, Make sure you have the correct set of answers based on the question paper you received. It will be marked as Set T, Set R, or Set Q.
Match and compare the answers you selected in the exam with the correct answers provided in the answer key. This will help you find out how many answers you got right.
Example to Calculate Score:
Suppose you answered:
- 150 questions correctly → 150 x 4 = 600 mark
- 10 questions incorrectly → 10 x -1 = -10 marks
- 40 questions left → 0 marks
- Final score = 600 - 10 = 590 marks

How to Challenge NEET 2025 Answer Keys
Candidates have to visit the official website of NEET 2025 (direct link will be provided as and when provisional answer keys are out). Click ‘Apply for Answer Key Challenge (s)’ and select the Test Booklet Code.
Now, log in with your Application Number and Date of Birth, and enter the Security Pin as displayed, and submit. The questions will be displayed in sequential order. Please note that the number next to the Question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the most appropriate Answer Key to be used by the NTA.
If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Options given in the next four columns by clicking the check box. You must also upload supporting documents, in which you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents to be put in a single PDF file). After clicking your desired option, for Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology for NEET(UG) - 2025, ‘Save your Claim’ and move to the next screen. You will see a screen displaying your challenges. Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’
You need to pay an INR 200 fee through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, and Paytm for each challenge. Save and print the NEET 2025 Answer Key Challenge receipt for further use.
Candidates have to pay a non-refundabke fee of Rs 200 per question or per answer to raise objections. The processing fee must be paid by June 5, 025, 11.50 PM.

NTA releases the NEET OMR sheet post-exam. It shows the answers marked by the candidates in the test. Candidates can access their OMR sheets on the official portal of NEET to cross-check their responses against the released answer key.

NTA was supposed to release the NEET 2025 result by June 14, 2025. However, multiple petitions were filed at the High Courts at MP, Madras, and others owing to NEET exam mismanagement. Madras High Court has put a Stay Order on the NEET UG 2025 Result release. But the MP High Court has modified the previous order and allowed NTA to release the results as per schedule.

The overall NEET 2025 paper was of moderate to tough difficulty level and lengthy:
- NEET 2025 Physics paper was the toughest in the last few years. It had some new questions which were not a part of any PYQs with some questions being asked from the JEE main practice papers as well.
- Biology has been reported as easy to moderate with concept based lengthy questions and diagram based questions.
- Chemistry is reported as moderate including a few lengthy numerical questions.

NTA is expected to release the NEET Provisional Answer Key 2025 in the last week of May 2025. Candidates will be given 4-5 days to challenge the provisional NEET answer keys. To raise a challenge against an answer, the candidates will have to pay INR 200 per question.
After reviewing all the challenges, the NTA will declare the final NEET Answer Key, expected in the 4th week of May 2025, on the official website- neet.nta.nic.in.
There are no restrictions on the number of times that you can take NEET UG exam. Once the answer key is released, you can verify the expected score and retake the test if required.
