MCC has released the NEET MDS 2026 Round 3 and Stray Vacancy Round counselling schedule at mcc.nic.in. Round 3 registration begins October 3 and Stray Round registration opens October 22 for AIQ and deemed university seats.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a fresh counselling schedule. It covers Round 3 and Stray Vacancy Round of NEET MDS 2026. The notice is now live at mcc.nic.in.
NEET MDS is short for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test MDS. The exam grants entry to the Master of Dental Surgery course. MCC handles central counselling for 50% All India Quota seats.
Round 3 registration runs from October 3 to October 7, 2026. Fee payment closes on the same day. Candidates must complete choice filling and locking by October 8. The seat allotment result comes out on October 10 and 11.
The Stray Vacancy Round registration opens on October 22, 2026. The window stays open till October 26 for fee payment. Choice filling runs from October 23 to October 27. The final result will be declared on October 29, 2026.
The MCC counselling covers 50% All India Quota MDS seats. It also fills 100% seats of deemed and central universities. State quota MDS seats fall under separate state counselling.

Who Can Participate in MCC NEET MDS 2026 Round 3?
Round 3 is open to all NEET MDS 2026 qualified candidates. Fresh registration is allowed for those who missed earlier rounds. Round 2 allottees who did not join can also apply. Candidates who resigned within the deadline remain eligible for Round 3.

Candidates must keep a full set of documents ready. These must be shown at the allotted college during reporting.

The Stray Vacancy Round is the last chance for postgraduate dental aspirants. All unfilled MCC seats will be surrendered after October 29, 2026. Candidates who skip this round lose central pool seats this year.
