New Delhi: JNTU, Anantapur is preparing to organise an AICTE Training & Learning Academy, Faculty Development Program on "National Education Policy 2020: Education for Sustainability". The FDP will be organised from October 16 to October 21, 2023, on campus grounds.
The program will be organised by JNTUA, College of Engineering (Autonomous), Anantapur to offer an insight into NEP 2020, its implementation, issues and challenges. The program will aim to impart knowledge about changes and transformations in the educational framework.

In addition to this, it will introduce all stakeholders and interesting participants to the changing roles of teachers in the present scenario and the system and structures of the National Education Policy. The program will commence for a duration of five days.
Those who wish to attend the program can submit their registrations on the official website of AICTE ATAL website at aicte-india.org/atal or atalacademy.aicte-india.org/signup. The last date to register is October 10 and the intimation to selected candidates will be done on October 12, 2023.
Candidates who are attending the program will need to have at least 70% overall in the following aspects in the weightage to receive the certificate. They need to have a minimum of 80% attendance and must have completed the assessment given during the course.

Informing about the program, the official notice reads, "After completing this FDP, the participants will be able to understand the changing role of a teacher, ethics and human values and how to integrate technology in education".

"They will also develop analytical skills, creative and critical thinking and further apply this knowledge in developing themselves into responsible citizens. The participants will be able to update the curriculum and develop a comprehensive awareness of the NEP 2020 and its positive impact on higher education", the notice added.
