The West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development has released the provisional merit list for the JEXPO and VOCLET exam 2023.
New Delhi: The West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development has released the provisional merit list for the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics (JEXPO) and VOCLET exam 2023.
Candidates who have appeared for the JEXPO Exam 2023 can view their ranks by entering their index number on the official website, @webscte.co.in.
Further, the council will soon publish a notification regarding the counseling process for admissions to diploma courses in government, government-sponsored, and self-financed polytechnics for the academic sessions 2023-2024. The notification will be available on the official website of the council.
Earlier this month, the JEXPO exam 2023 was conducted on June 3. JEXPO Exam is held to shortlist students for admission in various diploma programmes in the polytechnics in West Bengal for the 2023-2024 academic session.

JEXPO Merit List 2023: How to Check?
The admission process for diploma courses will be based on the merit list generated from the results of the JEXPO-2023 entrance examination. To check the JEXPO merit list 2023, candidates can follow these steps :
Step 1: Visit the official website @webscte.co.in.
Step 2: To view the merit rank, click on the 'Check Merit Rank' tab.
Step 3: Enter your index number in the designated box.
Step 4: Type the displayed captcha and click on the check result button.
Step 5: The result, along with the rank, will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Remember to save it for future reference.

If candidates have lost their index number, they can retrieve it by clicking on the 'Search Index Number' tab and entering their date of birth and captcha on webscte.co.in.
JEXPO is a polytechnic entrance exam conducted at the state level by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education. To be eligible for admission through the JEXPO exam 2023, candidates must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of West Bengal. Additionally, they must have been born on or before July 1, 2008, and have passed Class 10 from a recognized university.

JEXPO 2023 Counselling
Once the JEXPO 2023 results and merit lists are announced, the authorities will facilitate the counselling process in online mode. Candidates who successfully qualify the entrance examination will be eligible to participate in JEXPO Counselling 2023, which will involve multiple rounds of seat allotment.
The counselling process will commence with online registration, followed by choice filling and locking, seat allotment, and candidate reporting for document verification.
