IIT Palakkad launches TECHIN project for incubation; Know More

Indian Technology institute (IIT), Palakkad is planning to unveil an exciting project called IIT Palakkad Technology Innovation Foundation (TECHIN).

This Foundation is going to act as a device for innovation incubation and startup. The launch of this six days innovation camp is called as ‘Innondeate Bootcamp’ coordinated by the Csquare Innovation Centre, IIT Palakkad.

The boot camp will be led by Rajesh M. Nair, Professor at Asia Business School Malaysia. He is an entrepreneur and former student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA.

According to the director IIT Palakkad, P B Sunil Kumar, it will be an interactive, online, hand on program where different sessions will be taken by leading industry speakers.

The Innodate Camp will be further addressed by Mr Gopal Krishnan; Sujatha Srinivasan from R2D2 Lab, IIT Madras; Jairam Varadaraj, managing director of ELGI Equipment; Rajesh P., Co-founder of RapidValue Solutions and Chief executive officer and L.S.Ganesh from DOMS, IIT Madras; Srikanth Sundarajan from VentureEast; Gaurav Tripathi from Supero.ai; and Vipin Sondhi, Managing Director of Ashok Leyland.

According to Prof. Sunil Kumar, the TECHIN is a technology demonstrator and product oriented initiative, that is Checky to launch in the market. He also said that this technology will give the much needed boost to nurture and train the incubatees and provide them with a support system.

The complete training, development and incubation of the start-ups throughout the domains is taken care of by our innovation technology facility, he added.
