New Delhi: IIMA successfully executed the Cluster 2 Summer Placements for the PGP students on November 3, 2023. This year, IIM-A organized the summer placements through a hybrid mode.
During the IIM Ahmedabad Cluster 2 Placement drive, recruiters extended approximately 60 job roles. Mahindra, part of the conglomerate cohort, emerged as the top recruiter with 11 offers, closely followed by the Adani Group.
The recruiting firms in Cluster 2 were categorized into seven cohorts, including advertising and media, consumer electronics, consumer goods and durables, consumer services, conglomerates, retail B2B and B2C, and pharma and healthcare.

Top Recruiters at IIM Ahmedabad Cluster 2 Summer Placements
Established recruiters like Aditya Birla Group, Bajaj Group, CK Birla Group, JSW Group, Piramal, Reliance Industries Limited, and Tata Administrative Services were among those who partook in the conglomerate cohort.
Alkem Laboratories led the recruitment in the pharma and healthcare sector, with other participants being Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Glenmark Pharma, and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited. In the Retail B2B & B2C domain, Amazon took the top spot in recruitment
HUL secured the top recruiting position in the consumer goods and durables sector, while additional recruiters included AB InBev, Loreal, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, Asian Paints, Coca-Cola, Dabur, ITC, Mondelez, Nestle, P&G, and Wipro Consumer Care, alongside newer participants like Diageo.
IIM Ahmedabad divided its summer placement drive into three clusters, with Cluster 1 conducted on November 1 and Cluster 3 scheduled for November 6, 2023.
