Goa CET 2024: Course Options Submission for PG Medical Admissions Begins

DTE Goa has started the Course Options Submission for PG Medical Admissions. The last date of submission is November 20, 2024.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has opened the window for applicants to submit their course preferences for Post Graduate (PG) Medical Degree Admissions at Goa Medical College for the academic year 2024-25. The last date for submission is 20th November 2024.

Submission of Course Options

  1. Mandatory Choice Submission:
    • Applicants who have already submitted their application forms (online or offline) for PG medical admissions must now submit their course preferences in the prescribed ANNEXURE ‘O’.
    • The preferences should be listed in order of priority to facilitate seat allotment based on Merit and Choice in accordance with Rules 5 and 6 of the admission guidelines.
  2. Form Availability and Submission:
    • ANNEXURE ‘O’ can be downloaded from the DTE website or collected directly from DTE, Porvorim.
    • The completed form can be submitted in person at DTE, Porvorim, or emailed to dtegoaadm-deg@gov.in.
    • The last date for submission is 20th November 2024.

For New Applicants

  • Aspiring candidates who have not yet applied for admission can still submit their application forms along with ANNEXURE ‘O’.
  • The submission deadline for both forms is also 20th November 2024.

Merit List and Allotment Schedule

  • The Merit List for PG medical admissions will be displayed on the DTE website by 25th November 2024.
  • Following this, the Seat Allotment List will be published on 27th November 2024.

Reporting for Admission

  1. Mandatory In-Person Reporting:
    • Candidates who secure a seat in the allotment process must report to the Academic Section at Goa Medical College by 29th November 2024.
    • During the in-person reporting, candidates need to:
      • Pay the required admission fees.
      • Verify original documents.
      • Complete other formalities as directed.
    • Failure to report by the stipulated date will result in automatic cancellation of the allotted seat.

Students are urged to regularly monitor the DTE website for updates regarding the merit list, seat allotments, and further steps in the admission process.
