Students and professionals seeking opportunities in Australia can now submit TOEFL scores. Educational Testing Service (ETS) announced that Australia has lifted its year-long suspension on TOEFL scores. This means scores from exams taken after May 5th, 2024, will be accepted for all visa applications, including student and work visas. The Australian Department of Home Affairs has permitted it to resume TOEFL score again for all types of visa applications.

According to the recent announcement by ETS, TOEFL iBT test is currently accepted by 100% of Australian universities. If you’re applying for an Australian visa, you need to register for a TOEFL iBT test at a test center. Currently, the Australian Department of Home Affairs does not accept any English-language tests that are taken at home, including the TOEFL iBT Home Edition. The minimum TOEFL score requirement for the Australian visa process ranges from 65 to 80.
