New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) plans to implement a revised curriculum for skill subjects from the academic session 2024-25. This project intends to improve secondary education's practical applicability and vocational relevance.

According to the revised curriculum recommendations, CBSE will alter the content and organization of skill topics taught to students in CBSE Class 12th and 11th. The revised curriculum will be effective from 2024-25. This will provide adequate time for schools and educators to plan and change their teaching methods to meet the increased criteria. 

Key Highlights of CBSE’s New Curriculum 2024-25

Artificial Intelligence for Classes 9 and 11

The primary goal of this course is to improve employability and vocational skills by integrating AI concepts with various other educational courses.

Information Technology for Class 10

Students will learn the essential principles of digital documentation, spreadsheets, presentations, database management, and internet security.

Web Application for Class 11

The course's goal is to provide students with a full understanding of the subject matter as well as practical skills and knowledge related to networking, website creation, photo editing, and programming.

Web Developer & Graphic Designer for Class 12

This course, scheduled to be introduced in 2025-26, will include emerging technologies, programming, graphic design, and cybersecurity, providing students with practical skills and industry-relevant information.
