The applications for verification of marks can be submitted from May 17 to May 21, 2024. The application fee is Rs. 500 per subject. 

Candidates can apply to obtain photocopy of their answer sheets from June 1 to June 2, 2024. The application fee is Rs. 700 per subject.

Candidates who apply for verification of marks are also eligible to apply for obtaining a photocopy of their answer books if they are not satisfied with their marks after verification. However, this facility is not open to student who do not apply for verification of their marks. 

Soon after CBSE Class 10 and 12 Results, PM Narendra Modi shared a tweet congratulating students who have successfully passed CBSE board exams.

CBSE has announced that the compartment exams for class 12 students will begin on July 15, 2024, for candidates who have failed the exam. 

Students who wish to improve their marks are also allowed to appear for improvement exam but only in 1 subject. 

This year, a total of 1,32,337 students have been placed in the compartment exam category. This is around 5.91% of the total students who took the exam. 

In CBSE Class 10 Result 2024, a total of 2,12,384 students have scored 90% and above marks, while, 47,983 candidates score above 95% marks. 

The overall pass percentage in CBSE Class 10 Result 2024 has been recorded at 93.60%.

This year, CBSE will not provide overall marks or distinction on the marksheet. Your CBSE Class 10 and 12 Marksheet will contain subject-wise marks. You can calculate the overall percentage through the below steps:

• Divide the sum obtained by the total marks (i.e. 500 for 5 subjects).
• You will get a decimal number.

To check CBSE Class 10 and 12 Results 2024 through cbseresults.nic.in, you need to follow the below steps:

• Open the website cbseresults.nic.in.
• Click on the link ‘Secondary School Examination Class X Results 2024’ for Class 10 and ‘Senior School Certificate Examination Class XII Results 2024’ for Class 12.
• Enter your roll number, school number, date of birth, and admit card ID.
• Click on ‘Submit’.

The official portal cbseresults.nic.in still says “CBSE Class X and XII Results are likely after May 20”. However, there has been speculations about CBSE results 2024 being released earlier than May 20 since CBSE issued access codes for DigiLocker account activation to schools.

Generally, CBSE Class 12 Results are released in the morning hours while CBSE Class 10 Results are declared in the afternoon by 2 PM. This year also, you can expect the same trend to be followed. 

Roughly 5-7% of students get compartment in CBSE Class 10 Result every year. Last year, the total number of students placed in the compartment exam category was 1,34,774 which was 6.22% of total candidates appeared for the exam.

On average, around 5-10% of total students are placed in the compartment category every year. In CBSE Class 12 Result 2023, a total of 1,25,705 students got compartment which was 7.57% of total students who took the exam.

Students need to activate their accounts on DigiLocker using the 6-digit access code shared by CBSE with schools. The steps to activate the account are as follows:

• Go to the DigiLocker website – results.digilocker.gov.in.
• Click on ‘Activate Your DigiLocker Now’ under CBSE.
• Click ‘OK’ in the pop-up.
• Next, click ‘Get Started with Account Confirmation’ button.
• Select class, and enter your school code, roll number, and 6-digit access code provided by your schools.
• Verify the details and enter your mobile number.
• Validate your mobile number with the OTP received.
• Your DigiLocker account will be activated.

Once the results are available, you will be able to download your CBSE Class 10 and 12 marksheets from DigiLocker.

DigiLocker has asked students to activate their accounts on DigiLocker as CBSE Class 10 and 12 Results 2024 are coming soon. 

CBSE does not provide name-wise CBSE Class 10 and 12 Results. Students can access results only through their roll number. Name-wise results are not accessible to schools also.

CBSE will not release toppers list for classes 10 and 12, this year. Last year also, CBSE did not release any topper list. 

To pass CBSE 10^th and 12^th board exams, you must score at least 33% marks in each subject and in aggregate. 

Your exam roll number is mentioned on your admit card. If you do not have your admit card, you can get your roll number through your schools. You can also get your roll number by subtracting or adding one from the roll number of the student who sits after or before you in the board exam, respectively. 

Till now, major state boards like UP Board, Bihar Board, Telangana Board, Haryana Board, etc. have declared Class 10 and 12 Results. CISCE has also released the results for both classes on May 6. However, Maharashtra Board is yet to announce the results. 

With CBSE Class 10 and 12 Results releasing soon, CBSE has issued a proposed schedule for verification of marks and revaluation of answer sheets. The official notice is available at cbse.gov.in. You may also check the schedule below.

Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate courses in top government and private universities appear for CUET UG. The exam is scheduled from May 15 to May 24, 2024. NTA has also released CUET UG City Intimation Slip on May 6. You can also expect admit cards soon.

Candidates with PCB in their class 12 generally appear for NEET exam. NTA has successfully conducted NEET exam on May 5. NEET answer key prepared by experts is also now available. Candidates can expect NEET results on June 14.

JEE Advanced is scheduled for May 26, 2024, in two shifts – Paper 1 from 9 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Candidates appearing for the exam can expect their JEE Advanced Admit Card on May 17, 2024.

Only the top 2.5 Lakh JEE Main qualified candidates can appear for JEE Advanced. JEE Main results are already out on April 24. Based on your JEE Main scores, you can also take admission to top IIITs, NITs, and other engineering colleges.

There is no other latest update on CBSE Class 10 and 12 Result 2024 date yet. The results are likely after May 20. 

You will get your original marksheets after 15-20 days of CBSE Class 10 and 12 Result declaration. The original marksheets and certificates will be available in the respective schools.

Generally, CISCE results are declared after CBSE Class 10 and 12 Results, but this year, ISC and ICSE Results have been announced quite earlier than CBSE. The results for both ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 have been declared on May 6, at results.cisce.org.

In a recent update, CBSE has shared a 6-digit access code to schools for the activation of students’ DigiLocker accounts. Students can get their access code from their schools and activate their accounts.

The official portal cbseresults.nic.in says “This portal will be available soon”. This usually happens a day or two before the declaration of CBSE class 10 and 12 results. Keep checking the official website!!!

With NEET exam scheduled on May 5, CBSE is unlikely to release results this week. CBSE Class 12 Results might be released after the NEET Exam most probably by May 8.

CBSE official Twitter account shared a fake notice claiming CBSE Class 10 Result date and warns students to not trust such fake notices.

Some online resources claim CBSE result date and time to be May 3 around 11 AM, however, it is highly unlikely that CBSE results will be declared TODAY. There is no confirmation on CBSE result 2024 date and time yet.

CBSE has also informed students not to trust fake news circulating on the media. The results may or may not be released this week. But, they will be declared by the second week of May positively.

In CBSE Class 10, a total of 44,297 students scored more than 95% marks.

In 2023, a total of 22,622 students scored more than 95% marks. 

A total of 16,60,511 students appeared for CBSE Class 12 Exams in 2023.

CBSE will not release any official list for CBSE Class 10 and 12 Toppers this year as well. However, the toppers’ names will be announced with the results. 

Generally, CBSE releases the results of class 12 before 12 PM and for class 10 in the afternoon around 2 PM. The results for both classes are expected on the same day. 

As per the latest update, CBSE Class 10 & 12 Result 2024 may be announced in early May, likely before May 6, 2024.

Your admit card ID is mentioned on your admit card. If you have lost the admit card, you can generate your admit card ID as per the below rule:

• 1^st character – first letter of the student’s name
• 2^nd character – first letter of the mother’s name
• 3^rd and 4^th character – last two digits of the candidate’s roll number
• 5^th and 6^th character – first two digits of the school code

CBSE admit card ID is your unique 6-character ID written on your admit card. Your admit card ID is required to download your results online. 

Last year, the overall pass percentage in CBSE Class 12 Result 2024 was recorded at 87.33% which was 5.38% less than that of 2022. In 2022, the pass percentage was 92.71%.

Students can access their CBSE class 10 and 12 marksheets through the DigiLocker app or website digilocker.gov.in. You just need to search for ‘CBSE’ under ‘Education and Learning’ and click on the ‘Marksheet’ link to download your results.

As per the reports, around 39 Lakh students appeared for CBSE 10^th and 12^th board exams 2024. For class 12 alone, more than 16 lakh students are estimated to have appeared for the exams.

CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams began on February 15, 2024. The board exams of class 12 were held for 47 days till April 2 and that of class 10 for 27 days till March 13, 2024.

CBSE has not yet confirmed CBSE results 2024 class 12 date and time, however, reports suggest results are most likely to be released by May 5, 2024. Last year, CBSE results were declared on May 12.

Generally, CBSE releases the results by afternoon, but in 2023, the result link was activated at cbseresults.nic.in early in the morning at around 10:30 AM. Students must actively check the official website as CBSE never officially informs the exact result time.
