New Delhi: As per the latest updates, Calicut University will conduct the Calicut University PhD Entrance Test 2023 to shortlist candidates for admission to its PhD courses on December 02, 2023. The detailed timetable and admit card will be available soon at admission.uoc.ac.in.

Candidates appearing for the entrance test are required to download their hall tickets from the official website of Calicut University. The CAP ID and password (Security Key) are mandatory for downloading hall tickets for the entrance and the details are required for all future communications regarding Calicut University PhD Admission 2023.

As per the official notice, applicants must note that those who qualify for UGC-JRF, UGC CSIR-JRF, and research fellowships of central and state Government departments/agencies as approved by the University are exempted from the Calicut University PhD Entrance Test 2023.

Calicut University PhD Selection Process 2023

Calicut University offers admission to the PhD program based on performance in the Research Department's entrance test and qualifying examination marks.

The admission test is conducted by the Research Departments. Candidates who get a minimum of 50% in the entrance test (40% for SC/ST students, 45% for OBC candidates) are eligible to apply for registration in the PhD program.

Applicants who are shortlisted after taking the entrance test, or who are otherwise eligible, must submit applications for admission directly to the Department/Centre/Affiliated Colleges in the appropriate forms along with the application fee.
