As the College Director, what are your vision and long-term goals for the college? How do you plan to lead the college towards achieving those goals?

As the College Director, our long-term goal is to focus on the academic achievement, personal growth, and career readiness of each student. We also aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all students and faculty. We also envision promoting experiential, innovative, and lifelong learning skills that undertake all-inclusive research and development. Furthermore, we work at inculcating an entrepreneurial attitude and values among learners.

Could you provide an overview of the college's strategic initiatives or key projects that are currently in progress or planned for the future?

Our current strategic initiative will focus more on an extensive program for the student onboarding procedure, ensuring that all students develop educational, financial, and career transition plans. We are also initiating faculty development programs regularly in order to prepare our teachers for excellence in teaching and learn the latest teaching methods.

How do you ensure effective communication and collaboration among various departments and stakeholders within the college?

We ensure effective communication among various departments by practising transparency and offering supportive feedback. We want to establish an atmosphere where people feel encouraged and safe to express their opinions as polite collaborations can get things done. However honest and forthright collaboration can get things done better. We are known for our culture-rich approach to leadership. This goes back to transparency—keep lines of communication open and make it easy for teams to approach one another about shared access to people, software, and information.

What measures or strategies are in place to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for students, faculty, and staff?

We have created an open and welcoming, healthy environment for staff, students and the faculty. We also work on active and encouraging participation and open communication among everyone. We provide various platforms to give our students a sense of belonging and focus on boosting and maintaining student motivation.

How do you prioritize and allocate resources within the college to support academic programs, research, and infrastructure development?

Resource allocation is a key aspect of strategic leadership in education. It involves making decisions on how to use available resources to achieve desired outcomes for students. Proper education infrastructure supports the development of our academic programmes. We are well-equipped with classrooms, laboratories, and various modern equipment. We prioritise faculty development programs and also provide an industry centric curriculum. Through regular feedback and timely assessments, we also allocate resources within the college to support academic programs.

Technology is transforming the education sector through innovations like online learning, digital platforms and education applications, among others. As our college is one of the premium design colleges, we try to provide all the facilities and services to the students according to the digital world. Here, students are getting more hands-on practice in fashion software and learning essential computer skills and technology, all of which will help make their name as a brand.

What strategies or initiatives are in place to promote faculty development within the college?

We provide a regular faculty development program where we initiate mentoring and coaching to all the faculty. We keep track of continuous learning and evaluation facilities and create departmental and course-specific templates to lessen the learning curve for faculty and to provide students with standardized resources and materials. We also facilitate a peer review process for courses using IT to help improve the quality of those courses and to clarify best practice criteria for instructors.

How does the college prioritize student support services, such as career counselling, mental health resources, and extracurricular activities?

To support our students and our faculty members we provide counselling and therapy services and help them manage academic pressure. We also offer financial resources and make efforts to promote a welcoming, inclusive campus environment. Ensuring faculty and staff understand and know how to recognize signs of mental health issues and assist students with the appropriate resources is another of our priorities. Fostering a culture of respect, inclusivity, and understanding is also important for us. We hire a trained counsellor who helps students struggling with studies, relationships, and other problems.
