How do you strategize the curriculum and how often it gets updated to make it beneficial for the students?

We regularly assess the needs and requirements of the students, job market trends, and advancements in the field of study, gather feedback from students, faculty, alumni, and industry experts to identify areas that may need improvement or revision, we develop clear learning objectives and outcomes for each course or program, and define the core competencies and knowledge areas that students should acquire. We also choose appropriate textbooks, readings, and resources that reflect current knowledge and research in the field. Remember that curriculum development is an ongoing process, and it should be flexible enough to adapt to changing educational and industry landscapes. Regular feedback and evaluation are key to ensuring that the curriculum remains relevant and beneficial to students.

When you came to college, what was your vision and how are you trying to achieve the same?

Many students prioritize academic achievement by maintaining good grades and actively participating in classes and coursework. They often seek out resources such as tutoring, study groups, and academic advisors to help them succeed. Students interested in research often collaborate with professors or join research groups to work on projects related to their field of study. This allows them to gain hands-on experience and contribute to their chosen field. Joining clubs, organizations, or student government can help students develop leadership and teamwork skills, make new friends, and engage in activities they are passionate about. Building relationships with professors, peers, and industry professionals can open up opportunities for internships, job placements, and research collaborations. Networking is a crucial aspect of achieving long-term goals. Many students participate in internships or cooperative education programs to gain practical experience and a deeper understanding of their chosen career path.
