The International Council of Nurses is celebrated on May 12th since 1965. May 12th is an important date for all nurses, as it is the anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale, who is widely considered the founder of modern nursing. In January 1974, this day was finally officially made International Nurses Day.

To celebrate International Nurses Day, this year; L.N Medical College & J.K Hospital, Bhopal jointly organized a “Florence Nightingale” birthday celebration & Candle Lighting Ceremony program on Saturday, May 12th, 2018, 11:00 am at CME Hall JK Hospital, LNCTU Campus, Bhopal (M.P).

The “International Nurses Day” 2018 celebration event was graced by the Chief Guest Shri. Jai Narayan Chouksey (Chairman LNCT Group & Chancellor LNCT University), Special Guest Smt.  Poonam Chouksey (Vice- Chairperson, LNCT Group), Special Guest Shri. Anupam Chouksey (Secretary – LNCT Group), Guest of Honor Dr. S.C. Tiwari (Vice Chancellor, LNCT University).
