Which latest program are you offering in your department to help students stand apart from the crowd?

We at LNCT and in the Computer Science and Engineering Department are offering the latest technological courses including AI/ML, IOT, Blockchain, AIDS to our students. As our main objective is to transform them into best professionals, Engineers and future leaders.

What factors make the programs of your institute a best fit for students?

"Direct involvement of industry experts in curriculum development makes every program worth pursuing"

Every program of our college is designed after rigorous consultation with industry people, hence industrial demands automatically come into picture and we also remain fully aware about what infrastructure we need to establish for any particular course and how we need to teach the courses to them. In addition to this, students have full freedom to choose specialization courses related to the latest technologies as per their interest and passion. Because our main aim is to equip our students with required skills they may need while working in the tech industry.

What would you say are the best practices of your institute courses? 

"Students queries are addressed on individual basis and best research facilities are available for them"

The best thing about the courses of our college is the kind of teaching approach we use to teach students. And we address their academic and non-academic issues and queries on an individual basis and try our best to resolve them on time. Along with this, we promote the culture of self-learning and have provided full autonomy to them to experiment with their ideas and we provide our full support and guidance to them whenever they get stuck somewhere. 

How do the programs of your college ensure the future preparedness of students?

"By teaching every subject in depth and supplementing the students knowledge via other means"

Our college does go the extra step maintaining discipline and making sure that students are actually learning because it is our duty as teachers to shape the future of our students. Hence every program we offer to them is carefully designed and taught to them in a very structured and detailed way.

How did you train your faculty to deliver the programs to students in the best possible way?

"They are trained through FDPs, seminars and customized training programs"

The faculty are upskilled through a wide variety of programs including regular workshops and customized training programs. The main aim of this is to educate them on the latest technologies and make them capable of delivering the same to students in the best possible way.

How do you build a strong connection between your institute courses and industry demands?

"By conducting more experiments to help students relate theoretical concepts with real world"

We have established modern laboratories so that students can do hands-on experiments with their own ideas and whatever they learn during classes, learn new technologies faster and implement their knowledge to fix real time issues. Apart from this, we regularly assign mini and major projects to students to enhance their skills and prepare them for the industrial world. 

What challenges are you facing while inculcating this program in your curriculum?

"Convincing students to enroll in other courses apart from traditional one is real struggle"

The biggest hurdle in front of us currently is to make students and their parents aware about the possible career opportunities associated with every course, because whenever we introduce a new course in our curriculum, they don't accept it easily because their mindset is still tilted towards regular Engineering and Medical courses, so they think only those programs would be best for their children. But I would like to tell them that any new program is introduced into the curriculum after a lot of research and analysis, so believe in us as we are here to deliver only the best to students.

What are the possible career options for students after pursuing courses of their choice from your college?

I firmly believe that the thing that makes developed countries different from developing countries has a lot to do with automation. And today's digital world is moving towards automation more fastly than ever.
