Nalla Suneetha is the HOD CSE at the Welfare Institute of Science Technology and Management. He holds a B.Tech & M.Tech degrees. Further, she has a Diploma in Chemical Engineering (Petrochemicals). Her major publications include “Modified Gini Index Classification Using Heart Disease Dataset“, IJCSA, Volume 2, Issue 6 , 2010 , 1959-65 and “Sentiment Analysis on Online Reviews using Supervised Learning: A Survey”, IJCTA, Volume 10, ISSN:0974-5572, 2017. What are the factors that make this program the best for the students to opt for?

CSE is a trending technology and there are many available technologies, which are the sub-branches of CSE. If students opt for this, they will flourish much in their future.

What are the best practices in the program you are doing?

The best practices apart from the teaching-learning curriculum, are having numerous events being conducted every month. So, we have a department association and we have the hackathon event wherein we are the 4-time consecutive winners and the 5th time we are going to participate.

How does the program ensure the best for the students to be prepared for their future?

As this is a CSE branch, they will be learning both the programming concepts as well as the core concepts. So, when they have their excellence in the core as well as the programming, both of them will help solve real-time problems. In the future, when they go for a company, to excel among the competitors, they will be exhibiting these skills to solve the problems, the real-time problems in an optimum time.

How do you tend to build an industry connection with the program?

Industry connects with the program, we have various workshops, we have various seminars, and conferences that we are conducting such that the industry-academia gap is bridged. And people will be having the exposure to the industry wherein they are going to excel in the future.

What challenges did you face while inculcating this program in your curriculum?

The primary challenge is that each semester will have less span of time. We have to cover the syllabus and we have to enrich the students with the skills. So, we should have a good balance between the syllabus coverage as well as the skill set expertise. So, this is the greatest challenge we have encountered.

What are the types of projects that students are working on in this program?

Types of projects, they are working on include the current evolving technologies and training technologies like AI, ML, data science, cyber security and deep learning etc.

What are the benefits and career options after pursuing this course?

Benefits and career options are either they can go for higher studies if they want to go fly abroad or they can acquire good positions in the highest MNCs with the highest packages. And thirdly, they can go for a teaching profession.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities?

Roles and responsibilities, currently I am in the teaching profession as well as I am the administrator. So, I am balancing both of them, teaching my students as well as fostering my students in order to excel in every area of their core subjects.

What is your experience in WISTM?

Experience in WISTM is great because no college is providing sports. So its flexible teaching hours, blended and learning environment are appreciable. We have an online as well as offline environment and we have a good rapport with the students. And finally, we are looking after the mental as well as physical as well as financial fitness of the students as well as the employees in every aspect.
