Rishika Agrawal: “General (No reservation)”

Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Rishika Agrawal: “The GD was offline, with 10 people in each panel, and two moderators. We were given a general affair topic, and asked to discuss for about 20 mins, giving everybody a fair chance to talk. The GD was neither very aggressive nor very soft. However, many different aspects of the topic were highlighted which the moderators liked very much.”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Rishika Agrawal: "The topic revolved around the behavior of service staff towards customers- in the view of a passenger being dragged out by the American Airline staff very recently then.”

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Rishika Agrawal: “A few points brought forth by me included the power of social media making the service industry ever more cautious and vigilant, as well as customers having a feeling of bonhomie towards one another in such a setting such as the plane.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Rishika Agrawal: “There were 2 panelists, and 3 panels in total. The panelists were faculty members from the colleges, with different specialisations. The interview was in the offline mode, lasting about 20 minutes. It was not a stress interview, revolved around my extra curriculars”

Rishika Agrawal: “Chose this college over IIM K. The major reason was location. Gurgaon is a corporate hub, and travel from my hometown is convenient. Furthermore, the campus is beautiful, reminding me of my boarding school. Overall MDI has lesser seats and no reservations, and is situated in the hub of corporates.”
