MDI Gurgaon offers PGDM admission to students based on the scores obtained in the CAT/GMAT examination. It is a 2-year full-time program. Candidates who want to secure a seat in the PGDM course at MDI Gurgaon have to go through the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds after qualifying for the CAT examination with a valid score.

How to Apply for MDI Gurgaon PGDM Course 2024?

Admission to MDI Gurgaon is completed in three stages for its flagship courses namely, PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGSM-BA, and PGDM-IB. The applicant has to follow the steps mentioned below to apply for the preferred flagship course at MDI Gurgaon.

Students have to go through the registration process to apply to MDI Gurgaon flagship courses before the commencement of the CAT examination. The exam will be held in the last week of November. Any student after meeting the following eligibility criteria can apply for MDI Gurgaon PGDM courses.

• At least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both class 10^th and 12^th.
• Bachelor's Degree (minimum 3 years for PGDM, PGDM-BA, PGDM-HRM; Minimum 4 years for PGDM-IB), with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor's degree can also apply to the PGDM, PGDM-BA, and PGDM-HRM.
• The candidates have to submit the proof of graduation latest by October 31, 2024.
• Applicants to the PGDM-IB program must possess a minimum of 1 year of work experience

Candidates will be shortlisted for the GD-PI round at MDI Gurgaon among the candidates who have a valid CAT score and satisfy the eligibility criteria for the program. The shortlisted candidates need to log in to MDI Gurgaon’s website and enter their order of program preference for PGPM/PGP-IB/PGP-HRM. Preferences once filled will not be changed at any stage later on.

Once the applicant qualifies for the GD-PI round between February - April 2024, the final admission letters will be disclosed to the selected candidates in April. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in CAT, performance in GD-PI, academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements, and work experience among others.

The CAT Score is given a weightage of 55% and the Personal Interview is given a weightage of 30% while calculating the final composite scores based on which the offer letters will be made to the students.

MDI Gurgaon PGDM Cut Off 2024 (Expected)

MDI Gurgaon PGDM cut-off is not officially declared by the institute. However, per past trends, the MDI Gurgaon cut-off remains between 93 and 95 percentile.

Following are the prominent features of the PGDM BM admission criteria as announced by MDI Gurgaon for its upcoming batch 2024.

• The candidates seeking admission to MDI Gurgaon PGDM-BM programme are required to appear for the CAT/XAT/GMAT entrance exam.
• Shortlisting of applicants for the selection process will be done on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their scores in the respective examination.
• The selection process for the PGDM-BM batch will be conducted in two rounds.
• The applicants would be shortlisted on the basis of their exam scores for Round 1 which is the personal interview round.

MDI Gurgaon FPM Eligibility Criteria

The students have to meet the eligibility criteria as given below to apply for MDI Gurgaon FPM Admission.

• The candidate must have a master's degree from any stream with a minimum of 60% marks.
• For five-year integrated Master’s degree candidates, it is mandatory to have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
• Must have a minimum of 50% in bachelor’s degree, Class 10 and Class 12.
• In addition to this, FPM (Non-Residential) candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of work experience. 
• The age limit for FPM (Non-Residential) candidates is 35 Years.

When it comes to the program design and selection process, both programs are quite similar. 

• Candidates seeking admission to the MDI Gurgaon FPM program are required to appear for the CAT/GMAT/GRE/UGC-JRF/GATE exam.
• Candidates are shortlisted based on the entrance exam score.
• Shortlisted candidates are called for the Personal Interview round conducted by MDI Gurgaon in February 2024 at the Gurgaon campus.
• The standard score requirement might be waived for the full-time 2-year PGDM/MBA alumni from MDI, IIMs, FMS & XLRI.
• MDI Gurgaon FPM (Residential) and FPM (Non-Residential) final merit list will be prepared based on the various components such as test scores, academic performance, work experience, interview performance, etc.

MDI Gurgaon FPM Financial Assistance

• FPM scholarship will be given for a maximum of four years for non-MBA students and three years for MBA students.
• The scholarship amount will be INR 60,000 per month.
• In addition, a total contingency grant of Rs. 80,000/- and a conference grant of Rs. 2,50,000/- shall be provided to FPM scholars.
• The contingency & conference grant is mainly provided by MDI to support their book purchases, fieldwork, research paper presentations, etc.
