What are the key factors that keep associated with the education sector? 

My engagement in the education sector is deeply rooted in my passion for imparting knowledge and sharing my experiences with the younger generation. Having been involved in various national-level projects during my tenure in the industry, I always sought ways to transmit my insights and expertise to others. Teaching seemed like the perfect avenue to fulfil my ambition. The satisfaction I derive from nurturing students and young minds and providing them with the wisdom and experience I've accumulated is what continues to fuel my connection and commitment to the education sector.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

A good leader is one who comprehends the environment, acknowledges the capabilities and limitations of team members, and effectively plans by leveraging the strengths within the team. Utilising collective skills, a leader guides the team to achieve the set objectives, ensuring alignment with the defined mission and vision. This approach is pivotal for fostering mutual growth and success, enabling each team member to contribute effectively and fostering an environment conducive to achieving collective goals.

What are some of the greatest strengths of your college? 

Our college, SSEC, boasts robust links with over 500 renowned organisations, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and a highly competent faculty. We prioritise industry-aligned certification programs, and frequent interactions with corporate experts, and facilitate international internships through various collaborations and MOUs. Our teaching approach focuses on task-based methodologies, enriching student learning. At our institution, we implement outcome-based education by offering Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and engaging students in research projects. Our teaching and learning methodologies align with global standards, focusing on outcomes that are vital for the current educational landscape. We conduct in-house FDPs aimed at honing the skills of both faculty and students. These programs encompass various contemporary teaching approaches such as Pedagogy, Andragogy, and Heutagogy. Moreover, we provide a spectrum of supplementary programs that enable students to delve into their areas of passion and interest.

How do you bring in a practical and industry oriented approach towards subjects?

We integrate practical industry relevance into our curriculum through industry-focused certification programs, frequent professional excursions, and regular corporate networking events. These initiatives offer students hands-on experience and an in-depth understanding of real-world industry practises.
