He has done B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad in 2006 and M.Tech (CAD/CAM) from BPUT in 2012. He started his career in 2008 with Satyam Computer Services Ltd. as a FEA Analyst and later on worked as an Assistant Professor for Vizag based Avanth Engineering College for 4 years, Baba Engineering College for 3 years and Vitam College of Engineering for 5 years. Hence, he holds a total work experience of 14+ years in the education sector. He has also published 6 research papers in various national and international journals and has even attended numerous workshops, seminars, faculty development programs and conferences. And we even have an honors course in Subtractive and Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Industrial Robotics followed by a minor course in Integrated Manufacturing and Machine Learning. What are the key responsibilities of Mechanical Engineers in today's modern world?

In today's modern and digital world, where automobiles are in high demand all over the world, Mechanical Design Engineers are responsible for designing and optimizing mechanical components to meet the needs of building occupants and reduce energy consumption. Also, they work closely with Architects and Construction Managers to ensure that the mechanical systems are integrated seamlessly into the building design.


On what kinds of projects your department students are currently working on?

Our Mechanical Engineering students at present are working on amazing innovative projects and most of them are mainly involved in designing power-producing machines, such as electric generators, internal combustion engines, steam and gas turbines, as well as power-using machines, such as refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.

A plethora of work opportunities are available in the outside world for professionals having required skills and knowledge and students after pursuing courses from our college can primarily work as Automotive Engineers, Maintenance Engineers, R&D Engineers, Management Consultant, Manufacturing Engineer and Aerospace Engineers with leading private and public sector firms.
