Our ECE Department has an amazing team of highly qualified and extensively experienced faculty members who put all their efforts, skills and knowledge to train students as per industry standards. Then comes the infrastructure of our institution, which has been developed keeping in mind the world-class standards and guidelines of our university. Last but not the least, we provide wonderful learning opportunities to our young and ambitious minds and educate them about VLSI, Embedded Systems and IOT Communication. Hence, I would say that all these factors together makes our ECE program a best fit and worth pursuing for students.
What best practices has your college adopted to deliver the finest quality education to students?
We have adopted the concept of project-based learning and hands-on training for delivering quality knowledge to students. Hence state-of-the-art laboratories have been established on campus. Also, once a subject is finished, students are asked to prepare a project so that they can learn how to use their classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios. Apart from this, we give special attention to slow learners so that their skills can be developed in par with other students. Last but not the least, we have put in place a continuous counseling mechanism to regularly monitor students academic progress and skills enhancement.
How do you build a strong connection between your department course and industry demands?
For the purpose of building a strong connection between our department courses and ever-growing demands of the corporate world, our department has signed MOUs with different companies dealing with domains like Embedded Systems, VLSI and IoT etc. Then we have a Board of Studies, in which industry experts are present and they regularly help us in the development and upgradation of the curriculum in accordance with current trends, technologies and demands of the corporate sector.
Another benefit of these MOUs is that students are engaged in training sessions right from the first semester. Apart from this, workshops and project expos are regularly conducted by us to educate students about happenings of the outer world, bridge gaps between academia and industry and showcase unique work of our students to the outer world.
