Gokul Institute of Tehnology and Sciences, Vizianagaram was established in 2001. College is affiliated to JNTU, Kakinada and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. It is also recognized by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. Courses are accredited by NBA. College was 4th best college engineering in state of Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2009-2010.

The management has seen college only in a business perspective. Now we can result of that, as I know college is in very bad condition now.

Syllabus and course structure is designed by university. College doesn't have any right to change the pattern. I didn't found any thing related to research. Syllabus is completely related to the things happened in past. I didn't seen any thing related to current followup in industries.

There is no placements in our college while we are relieving from the college and none of the company came to our college to recruit the students.

These are suggestions to managments Improve standards of college in terms of lab facility,library,and placement recruitments. Provide proper guidance to students to get through jobs.

Tow companise came to our college but they selected only BTECH students. They are very small companies they offer 2 lac per annum.
