Ellenki College of Engineering

You held key positions at various organizations like Volvo and Google etc. What made you pursue your career in academia and excited to walk with ELLENKI in the journey?

Working at MNCs and having been a student at both BITS-Pilani, and Northeastern University, Boston, I have witnessed firsthand the immense potential that arises when academia and industry collaborate. In Hyderabad, as well as across India, there are abundant opportunities to leverage this synergy. By providing students with the chance to interact with industries, engage in hands-on experiences, and tackle real-time problems, their creative minds can truly flourish. These collaborative efforts bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, fostering a generation of innovative thinkers poised to make significant contributions to the professional world.

How do you balance the needs of faculty, students, and administration as a director?

As an academic director, balancing the needs of faculty, students, and administration requires effective communication, clearly defined roles and expectations, fostering a supportive work environment, prioritizing a student-centric approach, promoting professional development for faculty, collaborating with administration, utilizing data-driven decision-making, and seeking feedback to adapt and improve.
