What is the Eligibility Criteria of B.Tech (Lateral) Admission 2024 at BIT Jaipur, Patna & Deoghar?

Here candidates can check the eligibility criteria for B.Tech Lateral admission 2024 in BIT Jaipur, BIT Patna & BIT Deoghar:

Passed Diploma examination (3-year duration) with at least 60% marks (55% for SC / ST / PwD) in respective/equivalent branches of Engineering and Technology. Respective / equivalent branches are given below.
Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 60% marks (55% for SC / ST / PwD) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics and Physics as a subject with overall first division. Provided that the students belong to B.Sc. Stream, shall clear the subjects Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics (or equivalent subject offered by the University) of the First Year Engineering Program along with the Second-year subjects.
Applicants with B.Sc. Degrees will be considered for admission only after applicants with diplomas have been considered and subject to the availability of seats.
Year of passing Diploma/B.Sc. should be the current year or previous year.
Appearing candidates may also apply for the program, provided their result is declared by 31st October 2024. In this case, their marks will be considered upto pre-final semester / year.
