Bihar UGMAC: Stray Vacancy Round Registration for MBBS, BDS, and B.V.Sc. &A.H Courses Begins

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced the schedule for the Stray Vacancy Round of Online Counselling for the Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2024. This round provides a final opportunity for candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, and B.V.Sc. & A.H. programs in government and private medical and dental colleges in Bihar. Registration and choice filling for this round begins on November 13, 2024.

1. Eligibility and Rank Card Availability:
   • Candidates who submitted fresh online applications or expressed willingness for the Stray Vacancy Round between November 5 and November 8, 2024, are eligible for this round.
   • Rank cards for eligible candidates are available on the BCECEB website. Candidates must download their rank cards by logging into their accounts on the official portal.
2. Registration and Choice Filling:
   • During this round, candidates are required to create a new password for the counseling portal and select their preferred courses and institutions. Choices should be filled carefully, as they will be locked automatically on the final submission date.
   • The updated seat matrix for this round is also available on the BCECEB website, allowing candidates to assess available options before filling in their choices.
3. Seat Allotment Process:
   • The seat allotment will be based on a merit-cum-choice basis, and provisional seat allotment orders will be published on November 20, 2024.
   • Candidates who are allotted seats in the Stray Vacancy Round must complete document verification and admission procedures by November 22, 2024.
   • Non-compliance with admission requirements will result in the forfeiture of the security deposit, and the candidate will be deemed ineligible for further rounds.

Important Guidelines for Candidates:

Candidates are advised to carefully read the UGMAC-2024 Prospectus and ensure they have all required documents, including NEET(UG)-2024 admit and score cards, educational certificates, residence and caste certificates, and a valid Aadhar card.

• The fee structure for private medical and dental colleges is available on the BCECEB website. Candidates are urged to review the fee details carefully before applying, as BCECEB will not be responsible for fee-related grievances.
• Candidates already admitted to any government or private medical college in India are not eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round.
