ABV-IIITM Gwalior has announced Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) recruitment for 2025, offering 10 IPDF positions across five departments. Candidates with a PhD in relevant fields can apply. Read the article for more details.
ABVIIITM has opened applications for its Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) programs. The application process is now open, with a deadline set for March 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM for the first cycle of selection.

ABVIIITM PDF Admission 2025: Available Departments
A total of 10 Institute Post-Doctoral Fellow (IPDF) positions are available, with two positions in each of the following departments:
- Information Technology (IT)
- Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EE)
- Engineering Sciences (ES)
- Management Studies
The institute is also inviting applications for Externally Funded Post-Doctoral Fellows (EFPDF) in the respective fields.
ABVIIITM PDF Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be Indian nationals with a PhD or equivalent doctorate degree (e.g., D.Sc.) from a recognized institution.
- A first-class academic record with at least 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale or 60% marks in both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
- PhD thesis submitted candidates may also apply but must present their PhD completion certificate before joining.
- At least one degree or work experience should be from CFTIs (e.g., IISc, IITs, IIITs, NITs, IIMs, ISI, IISERs) or a foreign university ranked ≤500 in QS rankings.
- Applicants should be at most 35 years of age at the time of application.
- Candidates must apply within five years of their PhD defense.
- Those who completed their PhD from ABV-IIITM Gwalior can apply after one year of completion of their PhD defense.
- Applicants must have at least three publications in SCI/SSCI/SCIE-indexed Q1 journals as per the latest Journal Citation Reports (JCR).
ABVIIITM PDF Admission 2025: Fellowship and Benefits

- A contingency grant of INR 30,000 per annum is provided for conference participation, consumables, and publication charges.
- Institute accommodation may be provided based on availability, with HRA as per Government of India norms if accommodation is unavailable.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on qualifications, experience, and research output. The final selection will be based on a technical presentation and personal interview before the Selection Committee.
