- The Master's program in Media Informatics is a consecutive course of studies that builds on a Bachelor's program in Media Informatics.

There are no tuition fees for this course. There is, however, a semester fee for each student comprising a student services contribution and a basic fee for public transportation is $284.715

Academics
- A first professional university degree or an equivalent degree from Germany or abroad in Media Informatics, Computer Science or a related subject.
Language Proficiency
- The linguistic demands when studying at LMU are high. In order to complete a master's degree program, you will first need to pass a recognized German language test, unless the program in question is English-speaking.
- In addition, those applying for a master's degree program via the admission procedure will need to furnish evidence of special aptitude for the program in question

In order to register for the Master's program, various documents must be submitted in accordance with the Statutes for the Aptitude Assessment.
- Copy of the diploma of the first degree (if not yet available, please make sure you have the current certificate of achievement)
- Application form (in German or English)
- Short tabular curriculum vitae (CV)
- In case of choosing an application subject: Proof of sufficient basic knowledge from the bachelor studies in the chosen application subject. No special proof is required for a Bachelor's degree with the corresponding application subject; the certificate is sufficient.
- If applicable, proof of other examination results, further education measures, or practice-relevant activities
Career and Placement after Course
- Their career-based practical training and scientific education prepares graduates for a wide range of applications in research, business, industry, trade, administration and the service sector. Possible employers are multimedia companies, advertising agencies, software houses, telecommunications companies, broadcasting companies and publishing houses, but also training, IT, PR and sales departments of most companies.
- The experience of previous graduates has shown that, in addition to these, companies from completely different industrial sectors, such as the automotive industry in its' field of developing operating concepts, are also interested in the typical profile of this training.
