We all know that to study abroad and caring for a child, both at the same time, is a difficult task. To ease out this stress, MAWISTA has come up with a new scholarship program, MAWISTA Scholarship, which will be awarded to one person studying at any German University with a child.
All the students with child to support are encouraged to apply for the scholarship and avail its benefits. Since there are not stringent requirements, the application process will take less than 20 minutes.

MAWISTA Scholarship program does not have any specific eligibility criteria. Students who are ready to pursue a degree abroad even with a child are encouraged to apply. Applicants should note that factors like the duration of the course and the GPA are NOT taken into account for determining eligibility.

The application process for MAWISTA Scholarship is quite simple. All you have to do is complete an application form available on the official website of MAWISTA.
In addition to the submission of the form, tell MAWISTA as to why you should be selected for the scholarship.
The selection process for MAWISTA Scholarship is well structured. Each application is treated separately. The history/career and personality of the applicant is considered for evaluation of eligibility for this scholarship.
For 2024, the MAWISTA selection panel will shortlist five applications by January 30. The final selection will be done on the basis of public voting starting from February 15 until March 1.
The name of the recipient will be declared on the MAWISTA website.
The objective of the MAWISTA Scholarship is to help parents manage their child care need along with their studies in abroad. It aims to help them pay towards their tuition fees along with other living expenses including the cost of care for their child.
The main purpose of this scholarship is to enable the parents to study without having the need to worry of their child’s necessities and care. On the evaluation of all the applications, five applicants are selected for the final round which involves public voting. On the basis of the public votes, one applicant is selected for this scholarship which is worth 6,691 USD.
