Master of Science [M.S] [Civil engineering] From Karlsruhe Institute of Technology

Following are the entry requirements to this program :

• An above-average bachelor’s degree from a university .
• Proof of German language proficiency at the medium level B1. All certificates are accepted. Also accept a confirmation of participation in a B1 course.
• Necessary minimum knowledge and minimum achievements imparted by the bachelor's degree in the following areas:
  1. Statics and mechanics of at least 28 CP
  2. Mathematics of at least 20 CP
  3. Building materials and constructions to the extent of at least 18 CP
• as well as additional minimum knowledge and minimum achievements in three of the following areas:
  1. Structural engineering with a minimum of 10 CP
  2. Water and Environment of at least 10 LP
  3. Mobility and infrastructure of at least 10 CP
  4. Technology and management in construction to the extent of at least 10 CP
  5. Geotechnical engineering of at least 10 CP

• If minimum performance is missing, admission can be granted on condition that the applicant successfully completes the missing minimum knowledge and minimum performance by the end of the 1st semester of the master's program.
