TS POLYCET 2024 exam pattern will be available to download at the official website, i.e., POLYCET.sbtet.telangana.gov.in. As of now, there is no change in the pattern of TS POLYCET 2024 entrance examination. TS POLYCET 2024 exam pattern is offline pen and paper based only. You will be allotted with a total 120 questions if applied for MPC and 150 questions for MBiPC stream. Total time duration allotted is 2 hours 30 minutes.
TS POLYCET 2024 (Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance test examination. It is held for students seeking admissions into diploma courses in Engineering or Non Engineering or Technology offered at private or government aided Polytechnic Instittutes, and also in existing Private Un-Aided Engineering Colleges in Telangana State. Candidates applying for admission to Polytechnics in engineering and non-engineering courses are required to attempt Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Biology section is optional for such candidates. On the other hand, candidates looking for admission into Agricultural Diploma Courses offered by PJTSAU are required to compulsorily attempt Biology questions in TS POLYCET 2024 exam.
Previously, TS POLYCET syllabus has been revised due to 30% reduction in school board syllabus. TS POLYCET 2024 syllabus will be similar to that of class X (S.S.C.) topics of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. In MPC paper, each four sections will have 30 questions each. However, in MBiPC paper, Mathematics section has the highest weightage of 60 questions. For ervery correct answers, there is +1 marks allocation, and zero for every unattempted answers. Instructions to fill in details and answering questions on OMR sheet of TS POLYCET 2024 exam will be given inside the leaflet itself. It is advised to follow below-mentioned steps while filling and answering questions in OMR sheet. Remember that no secondary blank OMR sheet will be provided under any circumstances:
- Carry a Ball point pen (Blue or Black), and no other color is allowed
- Use ball point pen to fill the in details like name of the candidate, hall ticket number, name of the examination center, date of examination, candidate’s signature on side 1 of OMR Sheet
- Fill up or darken all the relevant Circles/Boxes on the OMR sheet carefully
- Answer Sheet will get invalid in case you fill any field incorrectly
- Do not scribble or make any marks on the response sheet except marking the answers and other relevant data at the appropriate place
- Do not tick any answer rather than shading the appropriate circle.
- You must not shade multiple answers for a single question, or else you won’t get any marks
