Osmania University, Hyderabad, on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education, has released the TS LAWCET 2025 Result on 25 June 2025, along with the TS LAWCET Rank card. The candidates can download their TS LAWCET rank card 2025 by logging into the official website using their Lawcet Hallticket number and DOB.
The qualifying percentage of marks in the TS LAWCET is 35% (i.e., 42 marks out of a total 120 marks). For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, there is no minimum qualifying mark.
The TS LAWCET 2025 offers a total of 5,177 seats across various law programs in participating colleges, distributed between the 3-year LLB program with a total of 4,269 in 22 colleges and 1,580 total seats in 16 colleges for 5-year Integrated LLB programs.

TS LAWCET 2025 Cutoff
The TS LAWCET 2025 has different cutoff marks for both the 5-year and 3-year LLB programs, as per the previous years’ trends. For the 5-Year LLB Program, candidates from the General category are expected to need around 100-110 marks, the expected cutoff marks for OBC candidates are 95-105, while SC/ST category candidates are expected to have 90-100 marks.
For the 3-Year LLB Program, the cutoff marks are expected to range between 80-90 marks for the General category, 75-85 marks for OBC, and 70-80 marks for SC/ST categories.
It has been observed that the reserved category like SC/ST has a lower cut off mark as compared to other categories.

- For Osmania University, the General Category cutoff for 5-Year Integrated LLB lies between ranks 1–500, whereas that for SC/ST candidates lies between 1,500–3,000. The same pattern is observed for the 3-Year LLB.

TS LAWCET 2025 Preparation Strategy
For TS LAWCET 2025 Preparation, the candidate needs to have an in-depth understanding of the TS LAWCET syllabus and exam pattern. For 5-year Law Course, the standard expected is of Intermediate level, and for the 3-year Law Course, the standard expected is of Degree Level.
The questions in Part C, Aptitude for the Study of Law, assume elementary knowledge of the basic principles of the Law and Constitution of India on the part of the student. The questions will be objective type, including multiple-choice questions, matching items.
Each question contains four alternative answers numbered as 1, 2, 3, and 4. Candidates have to select the correct option.
How to prepare for TS LAWCET Exam 5 years LLB Syllabus
TS LAWCET 2025 will have total of 120 questions and the duration of test will be 90 minutes. Maximum marks are 120.
- Part A: Consists of 30 questions carrying 30 marks: General Knowledge and Mental Ability.
- Part B: Consists of 30 questions carrying 30 marks: Current Affairs.
- Part C: Consists of 60 questions carrying 60 marks: Aptitude for the Study of Law.

Spot Admission is conducted to fill the remaining vacant seats. Students who have qualified for TS LAWCET and want to apply for spot admission must register themselves for Spot Admission counseling.
TS LAWCET cut-off is released by the respective participating institutes. You have to check the cut-off for the institutes that you are interested in and you can register for counseling if you have met the cut-off. But with 713 rank, you will be able to get admission in various colleges.
LLB program is not available in Telugu medium. The program is offered only in English and Hindi in India. But, the most preferred medium for LLB program is English.
TS LAWCET 2022 Counselling Registration is likely to begin in the 1st week of October, 2022. The candidates who will qualify TS LAWCET entrance exam will be able to register for the counselling process.
There are three sections in the TS LAWCET exam paper. They are Current Affairs, General Knowledge and Mental Ability, and Aptitude for the Study of Law. 30 questions each will be asked from the first two sections and 60 questions from the last section.
TS LAWCET is accepted for admission to LLB courses, integrated LLB courses as well as LLM courses. To get admission in any of these courses, you must meet the cut offs for the respective colleges.
Students who have passed Class XII examination with at least 45% marks are eligible to take TS LAWCET for admission to 5-year LLB courses. There is mark relaxation for students belonging to reserved categories.
