MICAT 2024 Phase II Result Out, Check Latest Updates!
MICAT 2024 Phase II Result is has been released today, February 19, 2024. Candidates can check their scorecards at – mica.ac.in using their application number and password.
MICAT phase 2 exam was successfully conducted on January 27, 2024. The institute had reduced the exam duration in 2020 and since then has been conducting the admission test for 2 hours 15 minutes. The final scorecard of MICAT phase 2 exam will be available for download in the first week of April 2024. With the release of the entrance test results, the authority also announces the names of the candidates shortlisted for PI/GE round. You will be shortlisted for PI/GE round on the basis of scores of MICAT I or II or better of the two scores. Check: MICAT 2024 Cut off
To be eligible for GE & PI Rounds, you have to clear the Psychometric test. It will assess your behavioral and psychological traits before you attempt aptitude test in the MICAT exam. Using the MICAT Psychometric Test, the institute determines whether a candidate is a good fit for the programme or not. The questions in the Psychometric Test section may have two or more options among true or false. Answers marked by a candidate in each question will help analyse candidate's readibility to pursue the PGDM course from MICA.
After that, your XAT/ CAT/ GMAT Scores and MICAT scores will be considered. At last, your scaled score will be calculated. If qualified, you will receive a call for GE & PI Round. MICAT 2024 Admission will be based on XAT/ CAT/ GMAT Scores, MICAT Scores, and GE & PI Round.
There are only 180 seats that are to be filled through the process of counseling, so students must be focused once the merit list is released by MICA. There are two ways of selection:
- 10% of the seats are filled on the basis of “spot allotment”
- Step by process of seat allotment through central counselling.

What is MICAT?
MICAT is an entrance test conducted by Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad for admission into PGDM-C (Post Graduate Diploma in Management Communications) and PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) courses. The exam is conducted in two sessions- MICAT 1 and MICAT 2 across 48 MICAT Exam Centers in India. Candidates appearing for MICAT are mandatorily required to appear in one of three exams- CAT/XAT or GMAT.

MICAT 2024 Result
- MICAT 2024 Result is declared three times, twice after the MICAT written tests and the final result after the GD & PI rounds.
- MICAT-I Result has been released on December 21, 2023, and the MICAT-II result will be out on February 19, 2024.
- MICAT 2024 Result can be viewed online mode. On the basis of the written result, candidates will be called for further admission rounds.
How to Check MICAT Result?
- Log on to the official website of MICAT
- Enter your MICA ID and Password
- Click on Result tab
- Enter your Roll Number, Date of Birth and Application number
- MICAT Score Card will be displayed on the computer screen
- Download it for further use.

MICAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, with the 10+2+3 system, or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- They must also have valid scores of any one of the national level management tests, namely, CAT 2020, XAT 2023 or GMAT 2018 onwards to be eligible for MICAT 2024.
- Students in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for the test.
- Foreign Nationals/ NRI’s need to have a valid GMAT score (600+) taken after 2012 and a passport.

MICAT- I Application Form was made available from November 26, 2023. MICAT Application process can be completed in online mode only.
How to apply for MICAT 2024?
- Visit the official website of MICA
- Click on the link ‘MICAT 2024 Registration’
- Fill in details such as Applicant name, mobile number, email address, security code and agree to the terms & conditions
- Note down your User Id and Password
- Login as “existing user” and fill the application form
- Details in the form include Personal details, postal address, education details, experience details, test city, upload a photo in the requisite format & size.
- Submit your MICAT Application Form and pay the application fee
- Take a printout of the submitted form and keep it safe for future reference

MICAT 2024 Admit Card
MICAT-I Admit Card has been made available for download today, November 29, 2023. MICAT 2023 Admit Card can be downloaded till the exam day in online mode only from the official website – mica.ac.in. The steps to download the admit card of MICAT 2024 is given below:
- Visit the official website of MICAT.
- Log-in using registered id and password which was auto-generated during the registration process.
- Click on the admit card link.
- Enter your application number and Date of Birth
- MICAT 2024 Admit Card will be displayed on the desktop.
- Download the Admit Card and take its printouts for further use.

MICAT Marking Scheme 2024
The total marks of the MICAT paper are not declared by MICA. There is no negative marking for Section 1 and Paper 1 of Section 2. Paper 2 and Paper 3 have 25 percent negative marking in case of wrong answers.

Work Experience of Students of PGDM-C
Most candidates enrolling in PGDM-C do not hold any prior work experience (39%). This is followed by candidates with 13-24 months of experience (28%). Candidates with an experience of 61-72 months is mere 1%.
Scholarships at MICA
MICA started offering scholarships from 2014 onwards. This was to encourage the students of lower income groups to apply to MICA and its programmes. MICA Scholarships are awarded based on the students overall academic performance and family income.
The criterion for selection is based on:
- Students academic performance and class attendance record
- Family Background
- Family Income not exceeding Rs. 5 lacs per annum
- Scrutiny of Income-Tax Returns and Bank Statements of previous years
- Other achievements
The Selection Process involves:
- Notification & Announcement among students inviting applications
- Preliminary scrutiny of applications and financial documents by a Special Committee
- Interview & Interaction with the shortlisted students
- The final recommendation of candidates to Director with comments
- Official notification of the final selected students
In all 11 Scholarships are awarded which include 5 from the PGDM(C) – 1st Year, 5 from the PGDM(C) 2nd Year and 1 from the CCC programme. Each account for 30% of the annual fees per student in the programme. The total funds set aside for this noble cause is INR 20-25 lacs with each of the 11 students chosen standing to receive INR 2.00/2.25 lacs (approx.) by way of scholarship.

Ques. If I gave MICAT 2024 ( I ) exam in December 2023, then do I have to write MICAT ( II ) also, or only one exam is valid?
Ans. Better of the two MICAT 2024 Scores are considered. A candidate may choose to write both MICAT I & II.
Ques. I could not write MICAT 2024 ( I ), but I want to write MICAT ( II ). Is there a provision to adjust my application fee from MICAT ( I ) to MICAT ( II )?
Ans. No, the fee will not be adjusted in any case. You have to pay the application fee again at the time of MICAT 2024 Registration.
Ques. I am from Dubai (NRI). Do I have to give MICAT 2024 exam, or is GMAT score enough for my selection in MICA?
Ans. GMAT score from 2023 and onwards is accepted but you have to appear for the MICAT 2023 entrance exam, as GMAT exam score is considered only for the top 10% on the spot admission letter selection.

Ans. No, you need to wait and the final result will be announced for the GE-PI round on March 1, 2024 (Tentative). The students who qualify will have their name in the allotment list released by the institute.
